Cleveland's biggest asset in this series is (of course) LeBron James. But Cleveland's second biggest asset is Doc Rivers, who will once again screw up his rotations and fail to make necessary adjustments from game to game.

Hahahahah...Mike Brown make adjustments...you're hilarious.
How are the Cavs supposed to run anyway? Who's gonna lead the fastbreak? Who's gonna finish?
The only guy on the Cavs who can effectively do both is the same guy, LeBron James.
The Cavs need to upgade this team big time. The Cavs need another ball handler or two (aka a real point guard) and some athletes.
Get a god dam big man who can finish an alley-oop. Get someone else who can actually dunk the ball in transition. This team is woefully unathletic.
Thats why you cant take much out of what the Hawks did. They actually have a bunch of athletes (Josh Smith, Childress, Joe Johnson, Marvin Williams) as opposed to the Cavs one (LeBron).

This thread is a joke.
Celtics vs Cavs
Pierce =< Lebron (Pierce is the better defender)
Perk <<< Big Z
Rond/Cassell/House>= West/Boobie
Ray Allen >>> Wally (Wally plays turn style defense)
KG>>> Wallace
Celtics Bench - Powe/Tony A/House/Posey >>>> Does anybody know any of the players on Clevland bench?? Boobie?
Celtics win in 4 out of 6 match ups.
Celtics Defense >>> Cleveland Defense.
ps. - Atlanta was an aberation not the rule. Most likely Celtics will dismantle Clevland more easy than Atlanta.

Im as big of a Pierce fan as there is but if Ray>>>Wally then Lebron>>>PP.
Pierce may be a better on defense but Lebron does every single other things better.
I doubt he's even better on defense.
LeBron is much improved on defense. He never gives up on plays and you will see him swat quite a few shots in transition in this series (mostly Rondo, but Pierce might get one blocked).
I doubt we'll even get to see if Pierce is a better defender than LeBron in this series, because if Boston doesnt double LeBron, theyre insane.
If Boston plays Pierce on LeBron straight up, one on one, I can say with confidence that the Cavs will win. If they double and shift their entire defense to him (like they did in the regular season), then players like Gibson, West and Wally will decide if the Cavs can hang with Boston.
I'm hoping Cavs in 6, but Boston in 7 seems more realistic because they have three legit great players.

lol! What would this post look like last round?
A few notes:
Do I see a 7 & 6 center get >>> over a 14 & 9 center?
And, uh, you overrate pierce a little (completely) bit.
Allen & Pierce = 37 - 9 - 8; Lebron by himself = 30 - 8 - 7
Rondo and Cassel are avg 17ppg in the playoffs; Boobie and West are avg 22ppg.
and the bench rankings....

Are you even being serious? The Cavs have no star on their bench (neither do the Celtics), but they do have a very solid bench. Joe Smith and Varejao have to be up there for best big men combo off a bench. Boobie, Devin and Sasha are all solid bench guys (as long as Sasha comes back from his injury). Even Dwayne (scrappy, very good rebounder) and Damon (3's) could contribute something if they ever got PT not during a blowout (but they never will).

Really, were the celtics in the 2nd round of the playoffs when they had West and Wally? (not to mention a 16 & 11 Al jefferson)
I seen to remember them having 24 and 33 wins the last 2 years, not winning conference titles.

Nope, but he did with 'toine! Lebron definitely has more of an impact than Pierce does and I said that. All I said is that Pierce is very good and can have a similar impact.

What are you guys arguing about? He just said Pierce is a good player-which is truth-he didn't say he's better than LeBron.
We can't expect to beat them with only LeBron. Team Defense and Rebounding will always be crucial plus offensively Big Z and our shooters MUST step up. Good luck to both teams!

Yep, if they were playing a game of 1 on 1 Boston would be in trouble. Good thing we aren't! This should be a good series.
