Tim Duncan has historically owned Pau Gasol. Tim Duncan has historically owned Lamar Odom. Kurt Thomas has given Gasol trouble over the years on offense. Odom is a 41% career shooter against KT.

The Spurs front line is tougher than anything the Lakers have had to face defensively. Gasol won't be able to abuse Duncan in the post the way he did against Okur, and don't expect him to play poorly like Boozer did.

I was thinking the same thing. Who will guard odom???

Barkley just crossed the line with that crap. There is noway this Laker team is better than the Shaq/Kobe Lakers. Shaq was unstoppable during that time.

I think Odom always plays well against LA b/c of that. Its a tough match up but at the same time there is noway Pau can guard Duncan. So there is advantages on both ends. This will be a great series.

gasol's success, or lack there of, doesn't really mean anything as far as this lakers team is concerned.

gasol actually didn't do much of anything in the post against okur. gasol gets his points off of kobe and lamar's offense and off of offensive boards. the only time he creates his own offense, he's facing up.
