But as I told Sixer fans, he will need 1 year at least to get used to the NBA and will most importantly need to bulk up. I truly felt he needed a soph. season at St Johns and still feel that way. Be patient with him because he showed amazing flashes for us given rough circumstances(6 man team due to transfers, netting in a ton of minutes when Freshman usually don't do that). Great knack for rebounding in a very tough BE conference, has some really solid post up moves and is improving an outside shot.

He's a project but by no means is the kid a stiff. He's the best player the Johnnies had skill wise since Artest IMHO.

Between Harkless and Nicholson who was awesome a St Bons....I am digging your team alot.

Nets package was better for the Magic, smh. They probably could easily traded Lopez away if he doesn't have any health problems.

Its gonna be a circus equivalent to Shaq/Kobe in LA now. But no bitterness, hell I'd rather the Lakers win than the Heat...

A. No , kobe is going retire in 2 season :/
B. Kobe and Dwight can work.
C.Dwight is not shaq
Cool, we'll see bro. Good luck, I just wanted to chime in that as a Suns fan I find myself good with this deal. Maybe its just because this makes the Lakers that much more hatable :) Since I've really come to respect Kobe in the last few years... But Dwight? He's an idiot such as the league has never seen...
Yeah it's not like Kobe ever had any success working with an egomaniacal center who likes to give himself nicknames or anything. Oh wait... they won three titles together you say? I stand corrected.

The worst part about this is 90% of the posts on this board will be some variation of Miami vs LA. Sigh.

And Mitch is officially the best GM ever.

Forgot to add that he never complained when Lavin couldn't coach last year(New Cats coach Dunlap coached) and considering the rest of the team were all freshman and that teams were going after him and D. Harrison for us, he really rose up to the occasion.

He was our first blue chip prospect to join us under Lavin so many Johnnies fans really like the guy and think highly of him.

Rob Hennigan is the general manager of the Orlando Magic, and the biggest joke in the NBA. At age 30, he is the youngest GM in the league, a fact taken advantage of by multiple other GMs who convinced Hennigan to trade away his best player while acquiring the NBA equivalent of two boxes of Pringles.[1]

on top of that, he will clash with kobe

its going to be so funny to watch.. hes a monster defensively and the best defensive center, but bynum isnt far behind

im so stoked to be a sixers fan right now... stuck thru so much **** since iverson and it paid off

we are SO YOUNG....
SO YOUNG

if jrue and turner take the expected jumps forward... with shooters now in nick young, dorell wright, j rich... and still have thad young off the bench too... kwame and spencer and lavoy allen as the other bigs.. and our rookie first rounder moultrie who probably wont even play..

just wow

Theo Epstein is very disappointed in Rob Hennigan...he worked so hard to shed the label of "young GM...must be a fool we can take advantage of" and then this....

if this is not a sign and trade. How will Lakers have the necessary cap space to resign D12?

Won't they have to shed more salary? or am i missing something?

Apparently Mitch Kupchak was reportedly quoted on the real reason the deal currently in place was initiated, and how he feels this will affect the parity across the league for the future.

I don't think it can be stated enough that the Sixers got Jason Richardson and Andrew Bynum for A.I and some small beans...and the Magic got THAT ..for Dwight.
