Weird game to say this, I mean he passed the ball well, but missed TONS of makeable shots.

Credit to the mavs; I really thought they were done after the first two games

Bitter haters  2 games ago Luka ball was impossible to be successful with and he was holding his teammates back.

His role players stepped up today, Phoenix still has way more talent on the roster, both things can be true

But you guys were bellyaching all season about how much his teammates suck. His teammates don't suck in today's modern game. Sure, transport them to an era without the pop a shot and they are sorta limited but who cares since this is how most of the teams play these days?

His teammates are trash. They're just being allowed to be physical while the Suns can't even look at them the wrong way. At the end of the day anybody in the NBA can hit open 3's.

They aren't trash. They are a bunch of 3 and D guys who are like the 2nd most valuable asset in today's pop a shot league. But yeah the refs were tragic this game. Flush and move on and pray they hold Foster out for game 6 at least so you can concede that one instead of going into Dallas in an elimination game.

They're bench players. All of them lol. Average defenders can seem great when you let them be physical on defense.

In fact, paradoxally, a game like this one reinforced your opinion as to still have the impact he had despite such a poor shooting night for him shows how good he is.
But hell please luka, stop a bit with your antics

I'm just saying, other players played great, don't need to be salty.

I think the mavs better when Luka has energy to play in the 4th vs going all out for the first half and not being able to help on defense or offense in 4th.

Good win by the refs and the mavs...

But the league needs to really decide about the refs etc

all it took was two terribly reffed games.

Oh gawd. Did anyone really expect the Suns to keep shooting over 50%, much less 64% like Game 2?

Phoenix has issues if Paul keeps playing like this.

Luka sucked and the Mavs still won by 10.

Not a great sign for the Suns.
Jokic 31/21/22
Luka & Oscar = 5 x 27/8/8
The Brodie = All-out energy

I’m sure the Suns feel the same way. They’ll be fine. It’s understandable that they take their foot off the gas on occasion

Why do guys go for a steal/apply heavy ball pressure defense in the last seconds of a game that is far out of reach? It always seemed like a bit of a d*** move to me.

Best believe they Mavs confidence is sky high right now. Confidence means more shots going in.

Kinda strange. He is looking really good on switches. Probably better than any of their wings. Can move his feet and has the length to contest shots. With the big advantage that Luka cannot bully him in the post.
But once he is asked to play off ball defense or make the right reads/rotations he is pretty bad.

People need to stop with the narrative that the Mavs cast it bad. They only do it to prop up Luka. They’ve proven they’re good.

I am not basing off one game and yes players will have bad shooting night from 3 point range, even Curry has bad shooting nights. Luka's ability to score in such wide variety of ways + him also being an amazing passer is just a nightmare combination for opposition team. I am in awe of how many wide open looks he has created for his teammates today. That's the hardest thing to do, especially in playoffs

That's true about Luka but refs didn't make 20 3's for Mavs. There were terrible calls on both sides i can agree to that. But CP3 also got some of his own medicine tonight aswell.
