I guess Curry and Curry fans will just have to console themselves with the 3:1 finals record over LeBron. You can use whatever metaphor you choose but if you can build a better team around Curry can build a better team around him, no matter what would eventuate if basketball was a 1 on 1 game rather than a 5 on 5 game. No box and 1s on Curry if he has an elite shooter next to him, which he doesn’t this season but may well have again next season. Just to be clear I like Wiggins as a 3rd offensive option much better than as a 2nd, and like his defense as a Warriors player period.

This narrative needs to die. There were a #4 seed and only 2 games out of 9th seed being the 4th seed. Stop trying to make it seem like they were way ahead of all teams below them.

When lebron returned they were only 2 games out of 8th seed with 2 months of basketball left.

He missed the last 1/3 of the season? Strange way to phrase it l. He missed January and half of February, that's it.

Most other fan bases I’ve seen agree that Curry is a piece that can put you over the top. He wasn’t built to be the main piece. It’s ok. Only few players are built for toiling. No shame in that. It dosent degrade from his greatness. He is the greatest shooter ever to play and will go down as a top 25 player
