France could easily have a commanding lead but they've played sloppy and dumb in the 2nd.

Dominican Republic can be happy with this win. Montero, Towns and Quinones were all off from three, but they still got the win. Kat adjusted and started attacking more. Excellent FT shooting by Towns by the way.

Clarkson was a bit too careless with the ball for Philippines to be able to win a close game like this.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Clarkson was just too selfish. I know he’s an NBAer, but…

They are fair-play! They could use their advantages in the paint but they don't ^^

I can't stand for next year when he'll be on the bench watching Wemby (Or Embiid too?!) and has to deserve his minutes

The one positive I could see is that with Qatar also getting a Euroleague team in 2025 it could maybe finally help to settle the feud between FIBA and the Euroleague. That means that those qualifying tournaments wouldn't be mid season when Euroleague guys can't compete and their countries end up struggling.

They'll see the financial benefits and find a way to make it work.

Anyway, as has been mentioned in other threads, Qatar will come for NBA guys sooner or later too.

Canada is a damn powerhouse. Murray and Wiggins HAVE TO COME to the Olympics. They can win gold. Canada's time to shine is now. They are finally here.

We still lack in the frontcourt, but I love our guard/wing depth most if not all are two-way players.

Canada has insane potential on D and they are showing it. I'm scared for my Latvian team.

True but I have been following you guys for the last decade or so, I have seen team Canada grow so much. I thought you had a squad like 5 years ago with young Wiggis and Bennett but no, THIS is the squad, this is the real deal right here. They are ready.

That French first quarter looks like a flash in the pan now.
