Actually they kinda were and credit to them. They almost shot 50% from 3.

48% from 3. But overall I think 40%.

As he rightfully should.

100% of this loss was squarely on him. One-MotherEffin'-Hundred Percent.

He's definitely going this offseason if Masai can swing a trade.

Masai has shown he won't stand for this stuff anymore. And if he loses Kawhi Leonard b/c this team didn't advance far enough in the playoffs, Lowry will be responsible for that.

Everything else and everyone else on this team has done exactly what they needed to do to get this far.

Only problem is, there may not be enough picks we can attach to get his fatass outta Toronto.

This might sound a little overboard but how about straight up release the guy lol...pay him out to get his ass the hell outta here. I feel like they need to get rid of his stench before Siakam and others get infected too

As a magic fan, I’m in shock that we won without Vuc and/or Ross carrying us there. That and JI usually plays Siakam better/ Siakam made some tough shots. This isn’t a ‘everything went our way’ type of win for the Magic.

What kind of Disney Channel Original Movie BS is that? Lowry has been to numerous playoffs and makes $30 million a year. If he doesn't have confidence at this stage of his life, then he should be traded in July.

bro you made my day I am laughing so hard rn at your post
Nurse probably needs a hug.

He barely made it through the news conference yesterday. He looked like he was hyperventilating.

Waw, I gotta admit, I didn't expect this. Well played Magic. Keep on believing.
Good assessment:

After hearing all the smug takes from the Raptor fans all year, jeez, I sure hate to see Kawhi airball a shot to tie the game.

If they lose 1 out of the next 3, I bet Kawhi's quad starts hurting again...

I feel bad about saying Lowry was just past his prime now... he's obviously completely over the hill!

All we can ask for from our guys is to put up a competitive battle/series with one of the best teams in the league. I'll go on record for ALL Magic fans even if they dont want me talking for them that we fully expect to lose and some games might get ugly if our offense isn't clicking.

We might squeeze one win due to great coaching, but the playoffs is a different animal. Tempo is slowed down and rotations are tightened. Out of all the teams we could have faced Toronto was the absolute last team I personally didn't want to go up against and I'll happily admit that.

On the bright side and for realists this will show us a few things that are as equal as winning a game.

1) Does Vucevic continue his all-star play and show why he should be considered one of the premier bigs in the league and warrant his next contract (possibly near max).

2) Does coin-flip Ross (hate that name btw) continue his hot stroke and gets revenge from the team that traded him or are the bright lights too much for him and disappear as past history has shown?

3) Do our young guys show *playoff promise and learn from mistakes and adapt on the fly?

4) Does Clifford turn on another switch to accommodate for the playoffs and redeems himself from a lot of unwarranted criticism from his days with the Hornets?

Believe it not though we match up pretty well with Toronto and it will be a fun series.

I can not stress enough though how ecstatic I am when and if Orlando wins a game the total meltdown/servers down that will take place here.

For our sake let's hope the Toronto Barneys show up to play.

The sad thing is he's probably still in his prime. He's always had these Jekyll and Hyde moments where he looks like a freak hybrid of Stephen Curry/Steve Nash, or current Jose Calderon. The first 15 or so games was the best stretch I've ever seen Lowry play, he looked like THE best player in the league.

Then he turned into Jose Calderon. Whenever he did this in the past, DeMar unfairly got all the blame.

He's playing hurt, but he also occasionally loses his composure in big games/moments. That's what happened today. I expect Raptors will bounce back and not start 3-17 or whatever it was in wide open threes again.
