Almost everybodys ts % drops in the postseason though. He went from 63.6 ts % in the reg season in 23-24 to 58.2 ts % in 10 games in the postseason. Hardly falling of a cliff.

2024 was interesting, cause he had a very bad first round, man couldn't even shoot from the free throw line, shot 72.7 percent on 8 attempts per game. That alone swings his efficiency a lot looking at a playoff run with a small sample size.

Series against the Mavs he was shooting 50.7/55/83 splits. he had a highly efficient series against the much better opponent.

The hope for OKC is the whole team providing better spacing for Shai the next time around, cause nearly every player shot much worse than their season averages during the playoffs.

With time, I hope he'll be better in the postseason. We'll see how his improved three point shooting looks come playoff time.

Re: Luka - once again in his career he's only +4 on/off on a very good team, so I guess once again we'll be in position to discuss his ceiling raising capabilities, at least in the regular season. Obviously, this time it is related to Austin Reaves so far being a top10 player, but 122 ORTG with Reaves/Luka on and 121 ORTG with Luka off is - again - a question mark how much he can raise a ceiling offensively of his team with such playing style.

The claim about Jokic not having an elite supporting cast is based on flawed understanding of on/off stats.
Jokic is the most effective offensive force and will likely finish top 10 all time, but his success is heavily dependant on his supporting cast, like all grewt players, and w/o them his team has performed demonstrabely worse and was an afterthought in contender discussions.

Nobody says Murray or AG suck. Nobody.

But they are also injury prone players. MPJ was effective as a scorer but useless in every other facet. Braun is improving but is a spotty outside shooter. Watson is still developing. Will Barton was a mess. Paul Millsap was old and immobile. KCP was good, but became too expensive.

Jokic isn’t the first great player to have struggles with a reliable cast around him but it’s pronounced because these guys are rarely healthy at the same time or consistent enough. We saw what a healthy, clicking Denver team looked like in 2023. They just haven’t been able to replicate those results.

I think Cade is really good, just don't think he's been as good as Maxey. The the putting it over for Cade is record, but they have Duren, and Ausar, and overall better coaching... Sixers have the talent, but the majority of the max contracts are on the decline.

My worry is Nurse running him to the ground with all those minutes he plays. Yeah he's got the conditioning for it, but 40+ minutes per game in 2025? Hope he doesn't break at one point.
