I think Zubac is LA's best prospect followed by Ingram, Russ and Randle. While I don't see a franchise cornerstone yet it's possible one will emerge.

Lol, someone's triggered their **** Lakers are on pace to make playoffs in 2025.

As a Celtic fan I enjoy ripping on the Lakers as much as the next guy but these takes are extremely week takes, especially when your team recently drafted the biggest bust in NBA history. Zubac and Nance were really nice finds for late picks, Russell is a decent combo guard, and Ingram is still to young to label as anything yet.

You aren't competing for championships any more than the celtics are right now. Getting swept 4-0 easily is not competing.

Answer me this one question, Who are the current defending Champions of the NBA?

Umm who's in the Finals right now? Oh yeah it's the Cavs vs Warriors. When you have LeBron on your team you always are a contender now matter the team. If Cavs win Game 3, which they were in position to, are they not competing? They made the game more competitive than any other game the Warriors have been in these playoffs.

Lonzo Ball did not blow the Los Angeles Lakers away during their time with him on Tuesday and Wednesday where they've locked in on him at No. 2, according to sources.

The Lakers remain intrigued by Markelle Fultz and Josh Jackson at No. 2 with De'Aaron Fox a bit behind them.

The Lakers would still like to bring Fultz in for a workout.

The meeting with Ball reinforced how different he is from his father LaVar Ball.

Jackson, meanwhile, is clearly special in terms of his competitiveness.

Magic Johnson has been involved during every step of the predraft process. Ball had dinner with Johnson, Rob Pelinka and Luke Walton on Tuesday and then lunch on Wednesday with Jeanie, Joey and Jesse Buss.

Meh not sure about this. Seems like it is a smoke screen. Plus Ball is a pass first PG so it's kinda hard to replicate that in a workout.
