The Dubs' problem is that if they load up on Tatum, either with a box and one or with double teams or traps on every play, it leaves Jaylen Brown with single coverage. Choose your poison.

Yep and great single coverage was the key for GS in game 2. BOS players turn the ball over a lot when their path to the basket is impeded. But when they get those clear paths to the basket or defenders respect the drive too much they are absolutely lethal.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Warriors need Poole to be their 2nd best player after Curry. He is the only other Warrior thatt can create for himself. He is also probably the only Warrior besides Curry that could go off for 30 multiple times.

I'm genuinely surprised not to see Tony Brothers in tonight's refereeing crew.

I feel like just from watching, not paying attention to the boxscore, Brown has been more consistent and provided the spark the Celtics needed whenever it got tight during these games.

Fans, especially Boston fans, have this weird obsession with wanting Jaylen Brown to be the actual star of the Celtics. Not sure why.
In Game 3, Jaylen scored 17 points in the first quarter and 8 points the rest of the game. He scored 2 in the 3rd quarter when the Celtics were struggling, and 2 in the 4th when the Celtics went on a run to bury the Dubs. In Game 2, Jaylen had 13 points in the first quarter, and 4 points the rest of the way. In these two games, Jaylen scored 68% of his points in the 1st quarter, not when the game was tight and the Celtics needed a spark. Quite the opposite of your impression, supposedly built on "just watching."

Jaylen has indeed scored more points (68 to 66) on better efficiency this series so far. But the consistency narrative is not in touch with the world of facts.

This post is full of objective and subjective inaccuracies.

1. Most Boston’s fans prefer Tatum to be the star to the point that I wonder what is the collateral damage if brown does win the fmvp .
We’re talking a lot of takes that won’t age well.

2. Brown scored 27 in game 3 . Which is more than 17 and then 8 the rest of the game .
Brown scored 3 in the 4th quarter .

So this post is kinda from bizarro world.

Brown finished the game as the High scorer on the way better efficiency of the celts high scorers . Give credit where it is due.

In game 1. Jaylen brown WAS THE SPARK that got the celts back In the game , then with this fake svengoolie like narrative that people are not living in a world with facts but all I see is fluff being served the other way.

Also I didn’t know GS had a 6th invisible defender loading on Tatum because I see a lot of him driving and missing into a packed lane , that’s on him .

Or fade away wing jumpers on single coverage or missing open 3s, backing guys down in single coverage . This has not been the heat series where threw the occasional double team .

Yeah Tatum's misses really are just on him. I've seen him miss a ton of layups and mildly covered fade away mid range shots.

He also struggled in the mid range against MIL for awhile.

He has to be better and hit these shots at a high consistency, I could see if it was heavy coverage but they're not.

Perhaps at least the mid range shots is something he'll work on in the offseason and improve on.

I'm sticking with the Celtics -4 tonight - no rhyme or reason. Just a gut feeling. I am 2/2 for the past 2 bets
