Will he stay in time restriction during this season?

Dude is flat out balling. The fact that the Sixers have a positive +/- with him on the court is just amazing.

Hopefully he can stay healthy for a long time.

Joel Embiid is the 1st player in NBA history to have 9 straight games scoring 20+ Pts after playing less than 30 minutes.

yeah I think you still drop a Max offer and pray for the best. It's not like having our money tied up for a bit would hurt us anyway.

Yeah, +2.6 with him. What's actually funny is that without him the -11.2 net rating is worse than last seasons 10 win team's net rating. Last season it was -10.0.

That record began at 5 games, streak is now at 9.

I trust the process. He will be best center ever in modern NBA.

Yeah, +2.6 with him. What's actually funny is that without him the -11.3 net rating is worse than last seasons 10 win team's net rating. Last season it was -10.0.

Haha that's better than the Celtics.

And for all the Bucks fans upset about Giannis only getting to play 29 minutes, welcome to our world every night lol. I don't want Embiid to play 35 minutes every night next year, but imagine how much better this team would be just from having him on the court an extra half quarter every game.

Back to Backs are the real win. I'm so tired of watching our NBA team one night and the Grapefruit League team the next.

Let's just pray we luck out and get Fultz. In 2 years we can definitely win it all if so.

If the Sixers just traded Jahlil already, they can get a good young shooting guard to pair up next to Ben Simmons and Embiid.

I think that ship has passed unless you want to package up. There are plenty of good players in this draft that can be our core with Simmons and Embiid.

Id like to see a Kings pick swap. That'd be hilarious.

This would be ideal, mostly because of how many people said there's no way the swap would matter since we would be terrible still. Yet another great Hinkie move.

Trade for which young shoot guard?

Well, if they traded him right after his rookie year when he nearly averaged 18ppg, they could've gotten Alec Burks, Avery Bradley, Will Barton and a draft pick, maybe even Jordan Clarkson instead of the Lakers putting their eggs in one basket for Mozgov. Maybe Orlando would've done Oladipo for Jahlil instead of Ibaka since Jahlil is a good nice piece to build a future around.

Anything is better than having Okafor rot on the bench and his value decreases by the day.

He played very well against Mil yesterday. The defensive lapses were not his fault when you watched more carefully. I think he has value to the right team. He would fit in Boston because their perimeter defenders are legit. Thats what he needs.

Nets pick for Embiid. Who says no? You have Okafor and Noel anyway

There's literally no market for Centers out there. While I think Okafor gets far more criticism than he deserves no team is giving up a solid young guard for him.

Embiid isn't just changing the culture with the Sixers, but the whole city of Philadelphia itself. To put it in perspective, the last Philly team to win a playoff round was the 76ers when they beat an injured as hell Bulls team in 2012. The Eagles/Phillies/Flyers/76ers have been mediocre to awful for years now.

Embiid/Simmons (and Wentz too) give us hope for the future after a bleak half a decade. About damn time.

There is definitely a market for Defensive Centers. Whiteside and Noel are hot options on many teams. Okafor, not so much.
