If the season ended today, his 169 3s would be equivalent to 192 in an 82-game season. He's easily made the most 3s per game of any rookie ever. Obviously it needs to be taken into account that he's a rookie in a time when everyone shoots a lot of 3s, but that's still impressive. Lillard is probably the most impressive, though. He got his on a team that shot half the number of 3 pointers as Portland shoots today.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Midseason I thought that Mitchell was Edwards near ceiling or above average realistic outcome. Now I think Mitchell is his pretty much closer to his floor.

RJ Hampton has been balling as of late. 11/5/2.5 (16/7/4 PER 36) since joining Orlando (24 games).

16/6/5 in his past 7 games. Kid wasn’t getting minutes earlier on, but for a guy who just turned 20, he’s doing real good.

Worth pointing out that Anthony Edwards isn't far behind at 161, with an extra game remaining on the schedule.

A: 21.2 ppg (.427/.327/.713), 7.8 rpg, 6.0 apg
B: 19.0 ppg (.414/.327/.767), 4.7 rpg, 2.8 apg

Two rookies, one current vet who won ROY. Interesting to look at the numbers side by side.

A is Doncic, B and C are Edwards and Ball.

I'm not even sure I was trying to make a point with the numbers, I just found them interesting.

There is a vast gulf in their 3 point percentages: 38.9% for Bey and 32.7% for Edwards. Edwards is obviously younger with room to grow, though.

Bey is also assisted on 92.3% of his 3 point attempts while Edwards is assisted on 64% of his.

They shoot completely different types of 3 point shots.

I'm aware. Your original point was only about volume though, not accuracy.

How is Killian Hayes looking? He's putting up a lot of assists.

Edwards is 2nd* in the league behind Steph Curry in 3-point pull-up percentage since the all-star-break at 39% (Steph Curry is at 40%) among players with 20+ games played since the all star break.

Gifted passer, a bit careless with the ball in part because he has no size/mass yet, has shown flashes of shooting but not off the dribble, struggles to get to the rim but has decent speed.

Remember, as a prospect he was going to be a few years away from truly being able to contribute in any meaningful way. Hopefully by 2023 or 2024 we can see him take on a decent role (back up PG who can stay on the court).
