I can't believe LA managed to turn Bynum and a lotto protected first into the best center in the league.

Why not? The best center in the league wants out and gets traded for second best center in the league. The only unbelievable thing in this deal is the Magic not taking Bynum back.

Excuse me, I need to challenge my inner Skip Bayless....

Firstly, I give credit to Mitch Kupcahak for having the patience to see this through and getting what he wanted. Gets Howard, keeps Gasol, AND keeps Kobe happy in the process. Like a boss. Yes, I'm a Celtics fan.

But at the end of the day, I blame the Orlando Magic for making this trade even possible. Here they were all off-season talking about how they would only make a deal that was in the best interest of the organization, and not simply what Howard wanted. So, they don't take Lopez, Humphries, Brooks, and some unprotected 1st round picks. Fine, Lopez is making max money anyways, even though any center with his skills is making that now in this league. Whatever.

So, what do they ultimately take? Aaron Affalo. Al Harrington. Christian Eyenga. Moe Harkless. Nikola Vucevic. A 2nd round pick in 2013. Oh, and 3 1st round picks with condoms on them. WHOOPIE.

Are. You. ****ing. Kidding. Me? This trumps the Nets deal HOW? Why am I supposed to believe that Henningan wasn't just trying to stand up Howard and Fegan? Either way, THIS IS the great deal that Henningan was waiting for? SERIOUSLY?

He got cold feet. He realized the market was cold and that he was in severe danger of having Howard walk for nothing, so he let three teams bend him over raw and with no lube. Ridiculous. Awful. Disgusting. Incredulous. More words that can't fully express my shock at how stupid the Orlando Magic are.

I feel sorry for the Magic fanbase at large, and hope that Henningan is relieved of his duties effective immediately if in the morning, this trade is agreed to by the owners and accepted by the league. Period.

I forgot to add the following to my post, and it is not complete without it. Just listen to the lyrics, and Kupchak's plan will make sense to anyone who looks at it from a higher perspective.

It's a joke. It would be like the Pacers getting Lebron in exchange for Granger and a first. I'm not mad, I just wonder if this is even satisfying for Lakers fans anymore. It seems like they flip their trash for a top 10 player every other year.

Shaq said Bynum is the best center in the NBA(which I disagree). You think anyone has ever said Granger is better than Lebron?

This isn't like Lebron for Granger. More like prime Duncan for prime Dirk. Duncan clearly the better player but Dirk does some things better.

Masai Ujiri is a great GM. Magic should get more but Affalo/Harkless/the draft picks will be good for the future, after they tank.

So Bynum will be one day MVP and finals MVP, carrying the entire team. Interessant.

Stop it. You're embarrassing yourself. Shaq is a moron that hates Dwight, so I discount his opinion. And the difference between talent is nothing like the Duncan/Dirk comparison you made. Both Dirk and Duncan are former League MVPs and Finals MVPS and are almost locks for the NBA hall of fame. Bynum may be the 2nd best center in the league, but there is a huge drop off in talent level between him and Dwight. Dwight is a franchise player, while Bynum would be a good 2nd option on a championship team.

Can my cheaply created jpeg image, accurately portray the forecast for the next 2-3 NBA seasons, depending on the outcome of this trade?

So is Al Harrington in this trade or not?

The wiretap doesn't include him in the latest report.
