NBA All Star gme became a circus. There is no point for anyone to waste 3 hours of his life to just watch what we watched today
An endless ridiculus parade of baseball passes, laughs , jokes , hops, comedians and certainly not sports. Someone of course can say" it has always been like this" well not exactly at least even the rookies played some defense the last 5 mins 2 days ago. All star weekend now is worth only for the 3point contest and the dunk contest. Today it was a complete waste of time

Hey guys what happened at the end of the 4th QTR? The crowd went all crazy and I saw on Twitter people saying that was the best shot of the game but my stupid screen was stuck on Kobe's face so I missed it.

I think PG played incredibly selfish basketball. I understand its just a scrimmage, but when you are sharing the court with the best players in the world, I don't think jacking up shots is a good look. What do ya'll think?

...btw I'm a Pacers fan.

I don't think he played any more selfishly than others, he just made a ton of 3s to score the highest. I don't think anyone who wanted to come to Indiana before will be discouraged by this, at the same time I don't think anyone who didn't want to come would change their mind based on one weekend.

It does neither. Everyone knew before the game that George was a top 10 player and everyone knows the same thing after.

You are thinking too hard, this is the all star game nobody gives a damn about being selfish or not.

I agree, obviously it would be more about the relationships and so on off the court, but I just feel like being the most selfish guy doesn't look good.

Damn, did he just pull up or was it just like a lob to beat the buzzer or something?

They should probably stop calling this a game and just call it the "All-Star shoot around."

Even scrimmage would be too high of a praise at this point.

Cool it's not up to you and what he's done for the league he deserves it a lot more than say your Isiah Thomas

IT is actually one of the best guards in the league. Kobe is not. Why don't we vote MJ and Jo Jo White in too? Should be about what they can do this year.

Players like Kobe Bryant are what makes the NBA great and having one last chance to see him in an AS game is far more important to the fans, and other players, than having a marginal AS player like Isiah Thomas in the game. Is' too bad you can't appreciate how significant something like this is to the game.

It's because he's a Celtics fan obviously lol

It has always been farcial but this one especially so.

Over here in Australia the rugby league season hasn't started yet but we've just had our all star game (yes at the start of the year) and it's all about the win.

We pit the 17 best Australian Aboriginals vs the World All Stars (fan vote, one player from each team plus the Australian and New Zealand captains). It's highly competitive and the sides take pride in representing their people.

It's much more PC than the old White vs Black matches that went for 20yrs up until the early 80's but basically the same concept. I'd love to see America pull that one off without riots!

Was listening to the radio after the game while driving home. They talked about Westbrook 'this guy has one motor, whether it's regular season game or all star game'. That's not true. As as WB fan, I just smh at him.

Actually last year's all star game was even worse. At least he is starting this year, last year he went all out as a reserve. I guess all star MVP is that important for somebody's CV huh. I think my avatar says everything.

The NBA has to make this game significant. Even the most dumbed down millennial fan should be hard pressed to find enjoyment from this type of nonsense.

It's only fitting that the week Allen Iverson is amongst the finalists for the Hall of Fame, the last "memorable" All Star game that had competition & heart is the one where he lead the East back from a significant deficit to win over the West.

Kids, ignore this type of ridiculousness that was on display tonight.

That was so dumb. They cut away when it was obvious Curry was going to launch that and probably make it.
