he's a secondary playmaker, on a team with no legit PGs, no spacing whatsoever and a bunch of repetitive lane cloggers...it's an absolutely terrible situation for his type of game.

He's been really up and down this season but seems to be trending up - from 3 ppg Oct to 14+ ppg January. Always seems to sneak a block or a steal in there too. He could well be a 18-20 ppg scorer with good defense next year, although he's not really in the race this year. Being made to play PG when you're a college SG will do that to you.

15/6/3/2 last 7 games on 43% from the field, only 50% from the line tho needs to get those FTs up

Garland has really been coming into his own recently. This class seems pretty loaded. Gonna be a legit 1st and 2nd rookie team.

2nd team:

G Darius Garland
G Coby White
F Jarrett Culver
F Rui Hachimura
F PJ Washington

if Zion plays a decent amount of games he'll make one of these teams for sure, and might replace Matisse for Sekou if Sekou continues to kill it

actually forgot about Culver, I'd move Matisse out of the 2nd team and put in Culver

I wanted Sekou, Herro or Clarke with the 11th pick before the draft.

Then when we traded for 6, I wanted Garland or White.

I'm actually pretty happy with Culver's progression, he's getting comfortable and he's a good all around basketball player. Energetic defender, solid rebounder..his shot needs work, but i'm happy with how his season is coming along and I was one of his biggest doubters (HATED the pick when it happened)

Sekou just still needs some seasoning which was expected. He tries to defend every possession like its game 7 final mins and gets himself in foul trouble.

That type of motor will pay off big though once he starts to get the fundamental stuff.
