I think LIT has the "beef" to build an effective wall against Giannis.

It will be interesting to see what a role Jonas will have. He is the beefiest, but also, Giannis is super fast too. Tubelis was put on Zagars, which was crazy idea, but it worked, him and Sedekerskis can hang with Giannis on foot speed, but they might be too weak, Sedekerskis often has trouble defending bigger post players.

My heart wants Poland vs Lithuania semis, but my head says it will be Turkey vs Greece.

TUR vs GRE would be an epic semi.

It's more common than you think, even google AI knows it. I remember Maskvytis putting Sedekerskis on PGs in Neptunas, probably not from the beginning

Yeah, but young Sedekerskis wasn't even a bigman really, he was running pick and rolls on youth teams, and he is as I said one of the most versatile PF defenders in Europe, but he is like 6'8. Tubelis is taller, more of a center, at least would be on some teams, but guy is guarding offensive point guards, I didn't expect to see that.

EDIT: Nevermind

I think both Poland and Lithuania are going to give Turkey and Greece trouble. They won't be easy.

Jordan Loyd is a true mercenary american without any real ties to Poland, right? Because I would like to support them vs Turkey but I'm strongly against mercenaries.

Jordan is their mercenary, Shane Larkin is ours.

It was a comfortable game after first period until the last 2 mins of thrid quarter where we build 23 point lead. Alperen's chase to triple double killed the team's rythm a bit and gave Poland an oppurtunity cut the lead to 11.

Anyhow, first final four after 23 years, we missed that!

Finaldn vs. Georgia will be a fun one to watch since two upsetters face each other.

I am always an admirer to Lithuanian Basketball so even thoug Greece is the favourites, I'll be rooting for Lietuva anyhow.

That 2009 quarterfinal was such a great game. Maybe not for Turkish fans. But that was definitely of the best EuroBasket games ever.

Yeah, he's a national team free agent signing, like L. Brown, Tobey, Randolph, Nebo, etc.

Larkin has at least played in Turkey for a long time. Loyd has never even played for a Polish club.

In the beginning he was a mercenary but Larkin has lived in Turkey for 7 years by now, probably would've gotten a citizenship even without the national team.

Beat me to it.

It was a great game indeed. Still I couldn't get over it. Spanoulis had cooked us but also miss free throws hurt us a lot. The teams that we beat in group stages (Spain and Serbia) played the finals.

His current USG% is 41.1 and he plays some of the best defense he ever played, so I think it is good.

Could you help me find Alperen Sengun's usage this tournament?

I think a lot of people do not even know this, but Real GM has stats for many many international leagues and tournaments, I get these stats right from here, RealGM is usually where i look up Euroleague and NBA stats too

They just take time updating it, so they can be a good day behind and most recent games not in database, according to RealGM, Senguns USG% is 30.3, which is very high, but only 17th. in this tournament as of now.
