This ain’t the East you’re used to! You ain’t relaxing, jogging, resting your legs all the way to the Finals! Here, every series matters and takes away from you, you earn every game! Just ask Duncan, Kobe, Dirk, Curry, Durant, Kawhi with all their wars between each other year in year out just to get a championship.

No wonder you lasted this long facing weak East teams most of your career. Your legs were preserved without having to expend effort like you do now vs great West teams. We saw what happens to players like you who are all stats and dont play any D vs the West, you get swept just like in 2023 vs Nuggets

Remember 2016 when you had fresh legs after cakewalking through the East while Curry was walking through mud after going through the gauntlet West?

Your short time in the West would have been a preview of what your career would have been if you played in the West all your career just like many all-time greats.

2019 - missed playoffs
2020 - bubble
2021 - first round exit
2022 - missed playoffs
2023 - swept in WCF!
2024 - gentleman sweep in 1st round lmao

Also on a quick note. Didn t the Timberwolves get a 2-0 lead on the road against the Nuggets last year. Only to lose the next three... This Wolves team is weird to say the least. Let s see how game 2 plays out before making a verdict

It's over, Bisme37 and Dirk are already counting my posts, I might be over the limit very soon.

Maybe just a little reminder, Luka has lost first game against OKC 95:117 in last playoffs.

Yeah, that’s exactly my point. Your statement wasn’t proving the point you thought it was.

Luka is the true playoff lobcity creator; he needs an athletic big.

Luka entering the inside the 3pt line with a big threat is his most dangerous game. He is then lethal scoring, lobbing or now kicking for the open 3

Sounds like a team that didn’t play defense. Not surprised.

Why are we talking mostly about Lakers D, when they have scored 95 points? There's no D that could have won them the game.

I’m not saying that’s why they lost. But to lose by the margin they did is pretty bad at home. I guess the only solace is that it happened in game 1. If they play defense like that it doesn’t matter what kind of offense they have, they won’t win this series.

Are you sure?

They didn't win a single game, when scoring 95 or less points this season. On the other hand they have scored 31 times more than 117 points.

I believe we should talk a lot more about Lakers' offensive side than D, but I understand It's far easier to talk about bad D.

If you are always taking the ball out of the net, that makes it harder for you to play offense.....
I'm so tired of the typical......

Because the two are linked? How are you supposed to score more when you're taking the ball out of the net and going against a set defense? It's demoralizing

Lakers offense will be there, it’s not like they can’t solve Minnesota on that end. Bad D has more to do with effort, teams can have a bad shooting game or lots of turnovers but to not contest most of those 3s pretty much let it get out of hand. Also when you get down big and it’s an uphill battle to score and catch up, the 95 can be misleading sometimes. This game was over early.

Then tell me, how many points can Wolves score for Lakers have a chance of winning?
