I honestly don't see the Raptors winning a game on Magic's home court. They better win Game 2, or it's gonna be a sweep.

A sweep? LOL, Just thinking of the Nets vs Magic second-round series would make the league sweat cold bullets. You better believe their handpicked "men" are gonna call the next few games.

Nobody cares about the Raptors outside Canada. They really don't have any star players except for Leonard.
However, Leonard is a boring AllStar - manufactured style of game. Nothing wrong with that, but I think he is more Pippen than Jordan. Not a #1 option.

According to Kawhi, he could have played more minutes. This is on Nurse.

Thanks. Also just looked into it myself, looks like Kawhi was ready to go into the game multiple times but Raptors went on a run without him. Then got outplayed with him on.

Please... let's not degrade ourselves by including Canada and stuff.

You can make an arguement about KL being more Pippen than MJ though but I think outside of his Uncle Dennis fascination, he is a top 10 player in thia league.

Nick Nurse: “I don’t think they did anything special”

https://clutchpoints.com/raptors-news-nick-nurse-says-of-magic-i-dont-think-they-did-anything-special/

What they did special was beat a 2 seed in their own gym with a healthy Kawhi Leonard.

I hope the Magic post this up in their locker room and do it again...

Next game is a must win for Toronto. Orlando is a great home team and fans are excited to finally experience a playoff game for the first time in 9 years. I don’t see them winning more than 1 game on our home court.

I hope not. The article simply stated that Orlando didn’t do anything special against Lowry, which is true. He just missed his shots.

We play the same way as the Raptors - TEAM ball. We don't have any Superstars either.
Vucevic is an AllStar this season as he has been our most consistent. Leonard - I just don't like his style(just my opinion). Remember, I've been a Magic Fan that has lived through the Tmac era - Personality/Crowd Pleaser. Similar to Toronto, the early Vince Carter years.

I can say the same about the Magic. Only Orlando Magic fans care about the Magic. We don't have any star player that draws attention from the National Media.
When we had Tmac, it was different.

I don't think I'm baiting...just being honest. I couldn't believe Raptors thought they could sweep us. They very well could win the series, but we are a dominant homecourt team. I just don't see the talent outside of Siakam and Leonard. Gasol is not the same player as he was for Memphis. Yes, he stopped Vuc, but Vuc will adjust because his game has evolved.

We beat them with Vuc, Ross, Gordon, and Fournier having subpar games. That is incredible. Toronto gave us the best they could give minus Lowry. Even if Lowry shows up, do we really think that those 4 Magic Men I just mentioned will not have better games?

The way to guard Lowry is to whisper in his ear, "playoffs."

I agree about their arrogance thinking they could sweep us. Also about them saying Lowry would bounce back a nd get his BUT Vuc AG and TRoss would be forever shackled and not get theirs as well?

Just don't want the arguements to include our cities/countries/ratings/market/ etc

It's pretty obvious that you don't watch many Raptors games...

I watched a handful and wasn't impressed by Gasol he seems like a shell of his former self.

Do you really think that was the best the Raptors could give the Magic? I mean, Lowry scoring zero points isn't insignificant. He's scores four points (which is a more than reasonable request), we win the game. I mean, kudos to the Magic, but that was not a good game from the Raptors.

Sorry first you say you can't believe some people thought Toronto would sweep than you follow it up by saying Toronto gave the magic their best??

If you think that's their best your in for a shock.

Thats as stupid if not more so than the people who though we could sweep.
