I'm not sure how you can say Jokic isn't an MVP, this game pretty much proves the opposite. The coaching, depth and talent difference between these two teams is just enormous. The Nuggets front office really blew it with this team construction.

SGA will get MVP and deserves it, but that dude has it pretty easy on this team. Just sit back, score against single coverage, bait your way into 10 free throws a game, and enjoy life.

SGA with 40/8/5/3 blocks on 15/32 shooting. He was cold from 3 at 2-11 yet dominated late. When he came in the Thunder were up what 7 or 8? Won by 24. He scored 7 points in a row in a minute and 20 seconds.

Jokic should get the MVP for having to play with the corpse of Jamal Murray on that contract. Looks like hot garbage lmao

Harden doesnt have his midrange game at all. SGA is more Kobe and has already shown his playoff scoring resiliency, his 3 ball falling will determine how high he can rise.

What? They literally play nothing alike. SGA is much closer aesthetically to young MJ+Kobe than Harden.

Also, have the media fawn over you.

No Kendrick Perkins meltdowns on SGA, or Shaq freakouts.

SGA has had a great year. He a deserving MVP.

Jokic is Jokic. This season is another brick in his pantheon wall.

PS... for the "HE IS BASICALLY HARDEN!" foul baiting comments.

SGA's last 3 years (if this year's pace holds) he will end up around 650-700 3 year average on total free throws attempted. Harden's 3 year peak was in the mid 800s. Harden's 3 highest year average is around 11 free throws per game. SGA's 10. Free throws per 100 possessions is Harden around 14-15, SGA in the low 12s. The kicker here? Harden in his peak years drives to the basket about 30% less than SGA.

Harden peaked around 19 drives per game, SGA an NBA record (in recorded data) 24, but in their other say 2-3 other peak years so far for SGA the gap is 25-30% less drives for Harden for example multiple years of Harden being 15-16 and SGA being 23 etc.

OKC with the back to back tomorrow against Denver, and then Boston at the garden after that. If SGA can put in 2 more big performances in wins he should cement it.

Y'all literally was saying Denver would be a dynasty after they won the championship.

Just face it the Nuggets got over hyped because they have Jokic. Best player doesn't make you best team.

If Jokic is serious about winning a championship he will demand a trade. Denver is not a basketball franchise who cares about championships. The choice will be up to Jokic if he wants to win.
