ill bite. Say Wade,LBJ,and Bosh sign for 1mill less give or take,Buy out James Jones+dump Beasly for nothing..they are than roughly 3mill under the cap with a 4 man roster of Wade,Bosh,Lebron,Chalmers. From here all they have to do is fill out the roster with 8 minimum players to make a 12 man roster which shouldnt be too hard to convince ring chasers.

Chalmers|Quinn
Wade|
Lebron|
Bosh|
JO|Pittman

Quinn is coming back? I'm ordering my season tix right now!!!

I think he means in the media, which for the most part is true. On ESPN, he is 1 less ring than Jordan.

On RealGM, obviously to some he is the antichrist.

^^ lol that team would foul out the whole opposing team. What happens when almost all players have fouled out and 4 players are remaining? they forfeit?

Winderman writes that his source, as well as a second NBA sources, says Wade “also plans to...scheduling interviews with the Knicks, Bulls and, in somewhat of a surprise, the Dallas Mavericks.’’

I can't believe the much anticipated 2010 FA bonanza begins in 3 days.

Should be some fun. Some fans are going to be like :D and others are going to be like :x and if this goes down most will be like
Cheers. — Mags

Stephen A Smith sources aye?

Can anyone give me an actual rumor SAS has started in the last year that ends up happening a few days later? I can't, in fact I can't find one dating back to the last 3 years. I found ones that did come true, but that was before he actually commented on them.

If his sources are true, then as of last week, those same sources said Lebron is a lock for New York.

"From what my sources tell me, he still hasn’t made a final decision, but he’s higher on New York now than he was a month ago," Stephen A. Smith told ESPN Radio on Friday. "And the reality is that he is leaning more towards New York than he is towards returning to Cleveland."

The sources said James' favor toward the Knicks played a role in Tom Izzo turning down the Cavaliers' head coaching position.

“LeBron didn’t speak to Izzo because he doesn’t want to have anything to do with who the next coach of the Cavs is going to be just in case he leaves,” said Smith, who covers the NBA for the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Izzo reportedly could not get James to talk to him while trying to decide to leave Michigan State for the NBA. The coach said he "spoke to all the people around him."

Smith added that the sources said James' advisers have been asking "very in-depth questions" about the Knicks organization and that the superstar may not sign with Chicago because he doesn't want to compete with Michael Jordan's legacy.

Another possible free agent, Chris Bosh, told SNY on Thursday he was considering the Knicks and would not wait for James to make a decision where to sign.

Even if he does win a title, people would hold that stacked team against him and say he cant win without Wade etc

Also, say good bye to any future MVPs

I dont think he signs.

This first argument I get even though I think getting rings trumps everything. No one is holding it against Kobe that he got Gasol.

The bolded part makes no sense to me.

Gasol isn't Bosh AND Wade. Plus Gasol had 0 playoff wins before joining Bryant while Wade has a title without Lebron. Different situations.

That Heat team will be too good for Lebron to win MVPs. He'll lose votes to people saying that the Heat would still be a good team without him since theyd still have Wade and Bosh.......not to mention the strong likelihood that his numbers across the board would drop.

This is weird to me if true because LeBron seems like the kind of guy who wants all the credit and he wouldn't get all the credit playing with Bosh and Wade.

Ok, so what matters more, rings or hypothetical votes?

Should've never brought up Gasol and Kobe, bad idea, bad comparison. My whole point was there was a lot of talk about how Kobe couldn't win it without good players PRIOR to when he won these last 2 rings (from everyone, media, former players, etc). Once he won the rings, a lot of that talk died down. Win the rings, everything else takes care of itself.

Wade and leBron could share the final, regular season mvps, but what would Bosh get? he isn't particularly Dwight Howard when it comes to defense (DPOY consideration)

Of course from our prespective as fans, rings matter the most but that doesnt necessarily mean that players look at it the same way.

Id bet Lebron wants to rings AND get all the individual accolades and recognition that he feels he has coming...... in which case it would make more sense for him to sign with the Bulls than the Heat.

Rose is a defacto PG who's jumper from 15ft and beyond is sketchy at best..i just dont see it working out. Coatailing Wade is Lebrons best chance.

Uh, there is a HUUUGE difference between winning a ring with Gasol/Ariza and Odom.. And winning a ring with Wade and Bosh. HUUUUUUUUGE difference.

Again, Gasol was a 1 time All-Star that had never won a playoff game. Wade is arguably the 2nd best player in the game and Bosh is one of the best bigs in the game.

If they win 65+ games every year and LeBron is the best player on that team, he's going to win mulitple MVPs. Period.

I dont think this happens... I think there is a solid chance Bosh goes to Miami, but not LeBron...

If it does happen though, they would be unstoppable..

Wade: 25/7/4
Bosh: 20/10
