It's like people used to hate on the name OKC Thunder but i don't hear anyone complaining about the name anymore.
Same with my team the Knicks. We were named after freakin' pants! I'm sure it didn't get such a great reception back in the day but the Knicks became a proud franchise, well at least before Dolan took over.
