Spoiler:
Wolves had nothing to do with this though.

That's because wolves are not backstabbers. They prefer to kill someone in the open and leave his body dead cold

The Knicks in the playoffs instead of the Hawks would've made great financial sense for the league.
So maybe just maybe you Raptors shouldn't complain about officiating for a series that hasn't started yet just because you think the league wants Nets/Heat.

Valid points but we all acknowledge that the superstars of this league do get favourable calls and while some Nets players like Pierce and Garnett wouldn't be considered elite stars in their current forms, they still have name recognition and reputations established so it's not hard to imagine more favourable calls being called Brooklyn's way.

That doesn't mean it will happen and even if it does, it's on the Raptors to figure out how to play around those calls.

Shouldn't these playoff threads be stickied by now?

Picking Raps in 6. But I admit, I have no feeling about this one. The Nets have been so up and down I'm just not sure what to expect.

You are mistaken. It's not only Vasquez. Tyler Hansbrough, John Salmons, Chuck Hayes, Kyle Lowry, Nando de Colo, Amir Johnson, Landry Fields and Steve Novak have all appeared in the playoffs before as well.

Woah dont forget about Julyan Stone and his total of 18 minutes over 2 years and his staggering total of 4 points

I just assumed that there is no possibility of him ever seeing the floor and that's why I didn't mention him.

It's already leaked that there will be white t-shirts handed out at game 1.

Can someone explain to me why the Raptors are the 3 seed?

One of these things I thought I knew is probably wrong:

Them and the Bulls split the season series. Bulls have better conference record. Division only guarantees you the 4 seed.

Am I missing something?

I agree, but the raps aren't good enough to overcome that old age imo

It's not hard to outrun and out-jump old men and the Raptors have plenty of athletic guys on their roster to exploit that fact. I also like their size when they go big, and they have HCA. Have you seen the Nets road record? Or is "veteran leadership" only applicable to home games?

IF they go big.

Which is a big IF, if you watched Raps ball this year.

Throughout the course of the season Raps bigs at the end of the game were Patterson and Amir, who are both atleast 6' 9". This was largely b/c of JV's defensive struggles, now with his improved play in March and April he has begun to close games and this should likely continue in the Playoffs especially with the matchup advantage it provides

Division winner is used as a tiebreaker

I respect the nets preparation going into the playoffs as a raptors fan.
Wish our team would do what's neccessary too to put themselves in a better situation.

I remember that MoPete miracle three that ended up setting us back for years

The sea of insert whatever color is kind of pointless of the arena supply shirts for free IMO.
