Yeah, which is funny since he's the worst rotation player in the NBA.

Last in the league in VORP, last in RPM, last in WAR, last in WS, among the worst BPM... He's awful, but hey, he can dunk at least.

It doesn't help that he's in the worst NBA team

Win Shares is the only statistic that affects, even then there's 3-4 other teams with comparable wins so there's plenty of players in comparable situations that aren't playing so poorly. He has potential, but that's it.

Lavines problem is he's that raw, Like incredibly one sided. He has defensive potential but his ability to switch defensive assignments is horrific. And doesn't really have a go to move. He's just a fantastic athlete. He could go either way, be out of the league in 3 years or with massive improvement be a nightmare PG.

I don't think he's a PG. He may be able to play it in spurts eventually, but I see him strictly as a 2. And he obviously needs to learn the game, but I think bulking up would help him immensely on defense. He plays good one-on-one defense when there isn't a screen, but he can't get through them.

He was the perfect gamble for Flip to take. He has the work ethic and physical ability. Just hopefully he can learn the game.

Do you believe he's a project PG or SG? I thought him being a PG was a shtick.

He plays so much better off-ball when he doesn't have to worry about trying to run an offense.
