Will Miami retire Lebron's jersey?

He's doing much more in Cleveland now than he ever did in Miami. At least he's getting those bucks now. Question, If he doesn't bring a title to Cleveland (which is very probable) will you still retire his jersey?

His last 3 postseasons in Miami he lead the team in MP, PTS, AST and TRB. That doesn't happen in Cleveland (like it did) past season if Kevin Love is healthy for the entire playoffs. LeBron wouldn't have to have been needed to rebound so much.

If my aunt had a d**k she'd be my uncle. the point is, it DID happen and there's a fairly great chance it happens next year again. Love and Irving are extremely injury prone and outside of these two, there's not much talent. It is just what it is. You are entitled to your mental gymnastics but facts are facts.

As a Miami fan that has always been a Heat fan since I followed the NBA, who's favourite player is Lebron, I say his number shouldn't be retired. You can retire someone's number who came to your club for 4 years and left to go back to his old team. We'll always remember his work that he put in for the franchise, but wasn't deserving enough of retiring the jersey.

What load? You mean his career averages? I believe maybe I'm in the minority in this but if Lebron played the way he played these finals in 2011 and 2014, Miami would have 4peated with the roster surrounding him.

Lebron is a superstar with no major surgeries or injuries.. If he wants to be considered great he needs to dominate other teams and stop blaming team mates. He played his lowest minutes of his career with Miami so what's your point. They tried giving him time off and he'd repeatedly say "if I'm healthy I'm suiting up" you can't complain about minutes after that.

Isn't that what stars do? And each of the last 3 post seasons he's been to the finals and won 2-3. As for Kevin Love, he has NEVER played a full NBA season without being out ever. So what's your point?

He was by far the best player on that roster. As soon as he leaves Heat can't even qualify for the playoffs. Yeah you had injuries but even with both Bosh and Wade in the lineup together the team was below 500. After the Dragic trade with Bosh out, the Heat still had Wade, Whiteside, Deng and Dragic and they couldn't even beat out a tanking Boston, and a worthless Nets team.

More and More it looks like those 4 years were just all Lebron.

I feel like non-heat fans are more obssessed about how we should feel about Lebron than we are. Most Heat fans are pretty excited about the team we have right now, and are focused on that. We have a pretty good team for next year if we can stay healthy. We'll see how it comes together.

Pat Riley is more important to the heat than Lebron was. Look at what the Heat were before Pat Riley, and look at them now. I mean Lamarcus Aldridge took a meeting with us, and we didn't even have cap space. That's respect. We have a really good owner and president, and that makes a big difference.

1. UD is considered Mr. 305 way more than even Pitbull, who gave himself that monicker.
2. More than longevity, UD has sacrificed repeatedly for this team and embodies the spirit and philosophy of this franchise.
3. Fans would spit a bit if he's snubbed. He's been co-captain even ahead of LeBron because greatness is more than talent. The sum of his parts makes him an easy candidate for jersey retirement.

Hell, Riley tried a number of a player who never played here just because of his significance to the league. Riley isn't gonna base it on numbers.

2. But his quality of play is lower. How many jerseys in the last twenty years of players who weren't as good as Haslem? He can do all that other stuff but quality of play should absolutely matter.
