Pisses me off so much when they put spoilers on the games page. I watch a lot of games after they have finished as games are on in middle of day here. Get home going to watch OKC and Phoenix and on the games page there's a big picture of Westbrook saying he takes over in front of home fans and gets big numbers. Gee I wonder who won with a title like that and sure enough they won. This has happened several times. Overall it's great though although incredibly expensive.

Is LP expensive? This is my first time using it. I only got a month, but the premium package. I'm in Thailand, and the price is 4,600 baht ($131) for the season, and 499 baht ($14) per month. That's for premium. I didn't think that price was so bad, but I might just opt for the sports cable package from my provider next month. I'll have to see if the price difference is that great per month.

If the costs are lower in other regions, like here in SE Asia, then you can always VPN spoof your address while you register. I assume my account is portable between countries.

EDIT: The 1 team option is 2,900 baht ($82) for the year and 289 baht ($8) per month...FYI.

my issue with league pass is that 1/3 to 1/2 the games STILL arent in HD. this is insane to me.

I think at least last season all these "teaser lines" were pretty much generic and not spoiling. Or kind of borderline spoiling, you could maybe get the impression that some one will have a great night stat wise, but it wouldn't spoil the winner, it could just as well be Anthony Davis dropping 50 points and losing.

But they are stupid in any case, I wish I could just disable them entirely, because I don't want to be at the mercy of some guy who's thinking "how can I hype this game without revealing too much". So I just have to make sure that I don't read them, which is pretty easy as the UI stays the same.
(though when it was something like Finals game 7 last season which I also watched on-demand, I probably used a paper or something to cover half the screen  )

they have agreements with cable providers which are the reason for the blackouts.

it's all money in the end. use alternatives and don't give them any business so they learn.

You can avoid spoilers by getting to the games through wikihoops.com. There are direct links to each game, its recap and page w/ box score (on ESPN). Just watch the game, then visit its page.

wikihoops.com also includes votes on each game and an automated grade, both of which help to find good games. I frequently watch the recap of highly rated games, then when the recap reaches the 4th quarter I switch to the League Pass recording and watch the rest in full.

League Pass now supports keyboard shortcuts, so it's easy to stay in full screen and just press the right arrow button to move forward and skip the less interesting parts such as video reviews, (most) free throws, and also timeouts - if you started watching the game while it was still playing or shortly after (they edit out the timeouts some time later).

It's cheaper in Thailand, I had it win I lived in Thailand too.

The problem, most games are played early morning Thailand time.

The new LP app has DVR functionality, but I don't think that pause actually works? That's kind of stupid isn't it? It's the most important feature.

I can't get league pass to work. Whenever go to a game to click on, it brings me to a page where there are numerous video boxes. Full game/ condescened game/ highlights , etc. But when I click on any of these boxes it says "now playing" in the box, but no video pops up anywhere..wth? Does anyone else have this problem?

This has seriously ticked me off. I'm a full League Pass subscriber and have been for years.

I watch all games on desktop. Not only does NBA.com suck completely as a site now, but I can't even watch a previously-played game so far this season without knowing who won and with highlights right below the video player.

Total suckage. Last year, they had the pop-out player and it had a "scores off" option. Now you can't escape knowing what the score is and who was the star.

Junk. They need to fix this issue for League Pass, and get the site under control overall.

No such issues here. I suggest you try a different browser. Do other Flash-based websites display properly? You can test it here.

Thanks, it may be my flash player. I just installed the latest version of Flash, however when I returned to the website you linked me, it still said my player was out of date. I am installing it, but it's not taking hold. What am I doing wrong? I use firefox by the way.

Not sure, but you might want to try Chrome or Edge (if you're using Windows). They have built-in Flash support.

Today games just don't seem to want to work. Couldnt watch Clippers game earlier on my roku and now the same issue with the Pistons game. Then trying to watch it on my laptop and won't load there either. This crappy product is so exhausting...

I live in London and didn't renew League Pass this year - it was getting expensive and I won't bother until X-mas when baseball is over and NFL further moves into the abyss. I just don't care about the NBA enough until about December.

The XB1 app is still unreliable, 3 years in.

Random disconnections, then you have to hard reset your console to get it working again.
