They could have got PG or Butler. Now, they likely won't get anything of value for him.

Players like this aren't going to be traded in the East, they'll be shipped out West.

IDK how to make the contracts work but throw in either Hayward or Horford plus the Nets pick.

IT, LeBron, Horford/Hayward, Taytum, Brown.

That's the 2nd best team in the league and would do better against the Warriors than the Cavs did.

Yes! I made this thread a few weeks ago:

As a Celtics fan...please make this deal happen. I'd love to see them replace Kyrie with the corpse of DRose

I imagine Gary Harris would have to be involved, but that's an interesting one. Mudiay, Harris, Chandler. Something like that.

Yeah I don't think Denver can get it done with just Mudiay and pieces. Harris or Murray would probably have to be added. I like Murray a lot but I am not sure I like an Irving/Murray backcourt. I could see something like Murray, Mudiay, Faried/Chandler. Denver can absorb some salary as well.

If you are Cleveland, how close are you to completely blowing it up with what remains of the offseason? Kyrie wants out, unless you can fleece some team in a Kyrie trade you know LeBron is likely out next season, and Love still has value but there are concerns about his health and athleticism. I would imagine if you traded all 3, dumped some salary along the way you could get quite a bit of assets to jumpstart a rebuild.....

Or, and this is crazy, you could read the article which states why Kyrie wants to be traded and learn that it has nothing to do with Gilbert. But a lack of knowledge has never stopped people from forming opinions.

If LeBron told Kyrie he was leaving, then why would Kyrie force his way out of Cleveland to "be the man" elsewhere? He could stay in Cleveland and be the first option.

Because they are losing the best player in the NBA and they are stuck with crappy contracts. Not to mention that nobody will want to go play in Cleveland now

That wouldn't really make any sense because Kyrie reportedly wants to be the focal point and doesn't want to play with Lebron anymore...you must not have read the article

75% of the posters in here didn't read the report, lol.

Attention All: LeBron may be leaving Cleveland next year. Also, this doesn't appear to have anything to do with it as it makes less sense the greater the chance that LeBron's leaving.

akhan786 wrote:He could get to MVP levels if he's in the right situation... Best case scenario Miami. Second best NY? He would be damn fun to watch in those cities.

I'm sure if Bron committed to staying for the next 3 years, Kyrie would too. You think Kyrie is gonna let Bron leave his ass with an old af roster with horrible contracts? He's only 25. Isn't 26 officially "your prime"? He could get a good year in with Miami or NY developing chemistry with their all-star big men. After a summer of adding pieces since players want to play with Kyrie (surprisingly enough since he's ball-dominant) they could maybe contend in the East honestly once he's 26.

He's not an MVP player because a team with him as the best player will never win more than 40-45 games.

He's a great 2nd option, that is his best role. A PG who can't operate an offense, play defense and isn't willing to play off ball isn't winning much.

Eric Bledsoe is team bron, phx has the assets, wouldn't be surprised.

My guess is to play in a bigger market?

I strongly suspect that the Cavs aren't going to honor his request. At least not before the trade deadline.

I mean I wouldn't either.

Doubt you'd get good value back for him.

I really don't know what's on his mind. The only way this is acceptable is if he knows Lebron is leaving 100%.

But the report states he no longer wants to play with Bron. Like wtf. That to me is completely idiotic.

People constantly take Lebron for granted and they get burned for doing so.

Maybe he's upset that he was included in trade rumors without his knowledge. Maybe it's possible that the PG to Cleveland rumors were based around a Kyrie trade and not a Love trade?

I hope he isn't making the Stephon Marbury mistake. But that was different since Garnett wasn't looking to get out.

Kyrie and bron have/had their differences initially but everything's been good for a while. If you re watch kyries finals loss post game interview it's all about how great bron is and how he wants to continue to play with and learn from him...

So what's happened between then and now I wonder because I think he was really genuine at the time.

Oh well at least we won one title. Looks like we'll be a laughing stock in a year again.

That is true, plus they literally lost every game that LeBron didn't play this year. However, maybe Kyrie blames Lu's coaching for everything being about LeBron offensively. And it was four years ago before LeBron came so Kyrie may think he can lead a team now.

Gosh, there are so many places he could go where he could lead a team. Maybe the Knicks would be a good idea - Kyrie and TT for Porzingas and Melo? Cleveland would need to get another guard though.

This sucks, I mean him demanding a trade this late (if the reports are true, if) . Basically If he wanted out he should have asked it much sooner, when Butler and George were still available. Bledsoe << Irving, Cavs are screwed.

Well.....Boston will be the beast of the East if Kyrie is traded.
