It’s people on this site who think that Wardell curry is better than KD?

lmaooooooooooo

It is a point got subtle distinction, they are the two best players in the NBA and which of them is more valuable is match-up dependent. Durant benefits from Curry’s gravity and playmaking, Durant presents an unstoppable iso option used judiciously since he can shoot over virtually anyone, and his own playmaking including his assist to turnover ratio has become progressively more excellent. I think both will find it much more difficult to win titles if they separate after this season, but if Durant wishes to follow his star then that is fine with me. I will have the memories forever, the 2017 team which went 16:1 in the play-offs will remain ranked among the most elite teams in NBA history for a very long time imo.

For the people who like curry better

Please post his defensive stats. Tops plays and clutch moments when on defense in the finals WCfinals.

I have to be in the twilight zone.

I know Clyde21 is a supreme homer, but LMBAO.

HAS he even won a finals mvp? He u let TWO dudes come to your team and steal yo trophies?

At last count he had 3 rings, and is not unlikely to have 4 at the end of this season, the team having forced a certain player with 3 rings who has done his utmost to stack his previous 2 teams into seeming semi-retirement. I think he and fans of him and of his team in general are rather content with this.

You can get back to me when someone forms a better team around a different player.

Kawhi go to Clips.

KD max in NY, Irving max in NY.

They draft Zion or similar top 4.

Jordan gets 60x4 in NY.

KD to NY is a done deal. My source, Eddy from the Barbershop in Coney Island has already confirmed this to me. It will be a sign-and-trade to the Knicks. The Warriors will receive a trade exception which they will use to trade for a player on a bad contract.

I would actually love to see KD in NYC. I can't stand the Knicks. I can't stand KD. Would be really easy to hate that team and be good for the league for it to have a genuine presence in NYC. And to top it off we can watch Dolan conjure up ways to screw up the rest of KD's career - which would be almost as blissful as what's going on on the opposite side of the continent.

While the above is meant as a joke, under what circumstance would the Knicks want to do a sign-and-trade for KD if they would have cap space to sign him directly? Mind you, the Warriors would prefer getting a TPE for Durant if he's set on not staying with the team.

But unlike years ago, the CBA has been neutered to eliminate using the full Bird exception on a S&T deal (whether new or extension). Honestly, having that available might help teams who would otherwise lose their stars for little to nothing (see Anthony Davis).

Yeah nobody thought he'd join a 73 win team , so I wouldn't expect anything that makes sense for most players to apply.
wouldn't be surprised if he stays where he has it good.

You actually think it would make sense for most players in his situation to sign in NY? Give up money and titles for...what? I'm not saying he won't do it, but how does it make sense?

Typically when these rumors come out so long before, (KD to GSW, LeBron to LAL) They are true. I fully expect KD to be a Knick in 2019-2020.

KD's definitely going to Brooklyn if he's moving to New York.

Less media attention, a better core of young players and a franchise that's more in tune with the younger generations.

I highly doubt KD has the guts to sign with the Knicks.

It’s okay. I’m fine with the Nets being overlooked despite better connections than the Knicks. I mean if Jay-Z tried to convince KD to meet with BOTH teams so it’s odd we wouldn’t be an option in 2019...

Brooklyn Nets: Caris LeVert, Kevin Durant praise each other prior to meeting.

Kevin Durant has nothing but praise for breakout Brooklyn Nets star Caris LeVert as Golden State welcomes Brooklyn to Oracle Arena.

All it took was one phone call.

One phone call and suddenly Caris LeVert and Sean Kilpatrick were headed out to California to train with Kevin Durant and Steve Nash. Nets Director of Player Development and KD’s former shooting coach, Adam Harrington, helped set it up.

The two have a history that goes way beyond this quick trip. After Caris LeVert fractured his foot during his days at Michigan, Kevin Durant was there to offer more words of encouragement.

2016...

“It’s always fun to be here. It’s the mecca of basketball in New York City," Durant said. "I always enjoy playing here in front of these fans who enjoy the game of basketball. It’s amazing. You can tell when you walk in the arena. Being at Barclays and being at Madison Square Garden, it’s that pure basketball feel when you walk in the arena."

I just don't see why KD would choose the Nets over the Knicks. It's an easy decision in my eyes. Nets are heading right for the treadmill unless they find a superstar with Mid rd 1sts.

KD is going to NY yet he didn't even meet with them the last time he was a free agent and now is getting pissed at reporters who even bring up the idea? How many times do we have to do this?
