I'm sure Kyrie is prepared to sign with a number of different teams... Nothing is a lock. Stay woke.

This is the end of the Knicks in New York as they can't even get free agents to come to them over the nets

Why is it now a problem with Russell and Kyrie? Makes no sense. Russell was the ultimate team player last season and will have 0 issue having a guy like Kyrie take some pressure off him.

If this does turn out to be true I expect Tobias or Butler to be the other target forming a solid trio.

It’s the other side of the court where the D’lo Kyrie pairing fails. I am with you that they could share the load offensively.

I’m expecting off court to be an issue also, that being said I haven’t heard of any DLo off court antics since he left LA.

I don't understand why Kyrie is going to Brooklyn. It just doesn't make sense. Does he just want to live there? if he struggled to lead Boston, how is he going to lead Brooklyn?

Durant is going to join him that's why. He's just going to have to wait a year.

Plus The Grass is always Greener with Irving. He's a great player and I'm sad to see him go but he caused issues for the Celtics and he's going to cause issues for the nets. He's not happy no matter where he plays.

AD might already have an agreement to sign in Brooklyn, Kyrie will just wait a year

You know, good for Brooklyn. I can't hate them finally getting some breaks, Celtics fans have no reason to have anything against them.

Kyrie clearly doesn't want to be a Celtic so at the end of the day it's best for everyone that he move on. I think how he's acted this past year has been very immature, shockingly at times, but it's time for this all to just be resolved.

Maybe Kyrie is one of the few players that might possibly relish having to play without Durant the first year in Brooklyn just to see how he could do on his own.

trust me, it will be worse.

I had seats for many Cavs games right behind the bench. Kyrie was always off by himself, sort of moping around. Nothing sinister...he just seemed detached. I am not sure he really knows what will make him happy.

As a cavs fan it's unfortunate what's happening to warriors but I don't feel bad.

Little early for that.

Bulpett is ainges guy and he’s usually right on with whatever he says about the Celtics so this is most def credible and looks very likely to happen

how does this team do against this years Raptors or Warriors?

Kyrie/Dinwiddie
DLo/Levert
Joe Harris/Prince
Tobias Harris/Pick 27
Jarrett Allen/Ed Davis/ Pick 31

edit: if they sign Tobi I believe the law states they must also sign Bobi, so add Boban to that roster

Might want to actually watch the Nets play or learn a thing or two about the team before making these hot takes. The Nets are one of the up and coming franchises in the league right now with great ownership w/ plenty of cash, a great front office, a solid coaching staff that gets players up for every game, top of the line training staff, doctors and they cleaned out all of the mess that was happening under Billy King. On the court the Nets play a wide open, unselfish and competitive style of basketball and the roster is young with upside. All of this in the country's top media market. There's plenty of reasons why Irving or any other free agent should or would choose the Nets as a destination.

I would wait til Sean Marks is done before assuming what the roster will be.

sorry, wasn't assuming. I was just asking, if that was the hypothetical route they went - how would it do? We have months, need something to talk about
