So far early in the season he has surpassed all expectations and has added new elements into his repertoire. Being a first option has been easier for him than expected getting points with ease. He's become such an amazing facilitator causing so much havoc that he find our guys for easy open looks like Vanvleet. At this rate he's already becoming a better first option for us than Kawhi was last year. Kawhi was kinda a ball stopper and wasn't that good of a playmaker. The brand of basketball we're playing is just beautiful. Another monster night, leading the league now in 30+pt games.
As long as you enjoy the bump in 6 weeks, when he's stablized a bit and still not a top 5 player.
I mean even right now is he a top 5 player? Brandon Ingram is putting up better numbers.

derozan is attempting less than half a three pointer per game. Looks like he and pop completely gave up on that part of his game.
