I don't think its THAT crazy of a prediction. I mean it still is, but its not like the post was made in 2018 or something. It was december 2019.

Agreed it isn’t like it is some impossible prediction. Especially with Irving as the center of it. The specifics are eerie of course but it surely isn’t that crazy. Case in point a lot of people predicted Derrick Rose getting hurt because of his style of play prior to his knee injuries. Zion is another case. Now this is even more specific and crazy but not by any means out of the realm of possibility.

Yeah, but the specifics are right on and there's a lack of extraneous details that are inaccurate or irrelevant. If this could be verified either way it should be either celebrated or mocked.

It definitely wasn't all on Irving. I know Rozier wasn't happy going back to the bench after he had a great playoff run. Makes sense because he's clearly a start. I'm also going to guess that people weren't happy that Hayward was getting so much time when he clearly wasn't even close to 100%.

Regardless I have no idea what the front office did. They bent over backwards and did everything they could to keep Irving happy clearly he never wanted to be in Boston

No, any rational Celtics fan will tell you that the roster construction on that team in terms of contract situations/play time/career timelines was flawed. It was a knock on ainge who has since been let go. He was widely criticized and rightfully so. There was several issues.

What made it worse and caused even further chemistry issues on the team was kyrie’s lack of leadership, immaturity, malcontent and moodiness which permeated the whole locker room and festered the entire season which made bad roster management turn into a terrible work enviroment as well. Dysfunction compounded by kyrie.

Instead of using his status & respect from his peers in the league and teammates to the Celtics advantage and giving them the best chance possible he made things worse. He’s an unbelievable INDIVIDUAL talent. he’s a very giving and generous compassionate person OFF the court and in the community but not worth it in the locker room and to an organization.

He’s absolutely a pain in the ass and once again sabotaging a team with a legit chance at a title- this time by becoming a distraction, one so big his own organization told him to stay home and away while his peers compete for the ultimate prize.....a championship. bypassing his great talent along the way by basically telling him : “ no thanks we good”.

You have a chance to be the overwhelming far and away favorite for a ring and it’s being wasted and ruined again by the same individual who has shown the same pattern now throughout his entire career. Good luck.
