Ronaldo has more UCLs than messi btw. At the end, us the fans only care about trophies. So what if messi is the better player or whatever, his team underperformed when it matters, with him as one of the reasons. People always told me that barca is the best team that football has ever produced but the results are not there.

Ronaldo had the highest peak. He was real a phenomenon.
I have not seen a more impressive player than Ronaldo in the years of Barcelona and Inter

Cristiano And Messi each have like 8 seasons way better than the best Ronaldo ever played.

They are like 2 wins behind 2nd place in the West and dealing with injuries. This is a team people said would fight for the 8th spot to try and sneak in the playoffs at best. It's not like they are out of the picture completely.

He is definitely behind Giannis and Harden, but he is deserves to be in the conversation for MVP... He is not out of it if the Mavs get healthy and start winning again

Good to see Bucks finally lose, Harden's chances for MVP are increasing. I'll never believe in Giannis as a three point shooter, I would let him have that all day.

I only care about trophies that my team win.

As a player, Messi is way better than Cristiano and it isnt even a discussion tbh.

When you stop taking American media seriously you can't help but laugh most of the time.

Apparently, Giannis can win and dominate 14 out of 15 games, but as soon as his team loses (i don't think he even had that bad of a game, below average scoring night for sure, but had 8 assists to 2 TO and played good defense, was -2 in a game the Bucks lost by 22) everyone starts talking about and creating videos on how he's been 'exposed' :D

People just can't wait to 'expose' someone in the US. It's one of their favorite pastime.

Like, every player has weaknesses. We know who Giannis is as a player and what his weaknesses are. Losing a regular season game in January isn't going to show us anything we didn't know. But sports media people need to go to work and have something to talk about... C'est la vie.

shoutsout to Jokic, man.

Dude was taking major heat at the start of the season (rightfully so, imo) from a lot of people, including myself and he's bounced back in big way. Numbers/impact now pretty much on par with last season, looking like a fringe Top 5 player in the league.

Jokic puts all doubters to bed once again.
The best big in our game is also the most fun player to watch(imo always).
I think Nuggets will end up 2nd but the Joker won't be in the conversation for the sole reason that he doesn't really care(and i love him even more for this).

Jokic won't be in the conversation because he is extremely inconsistent. He had 47p against the Hawks but just in the previous game he only had 14p against the worst defense in the league(Wizards) and a loss.
Also in the beginning of the season in half of his games he had single digit points for a month and half.

Harden is always gonna have good box scores, don't think he's anywhere near being the most valuable player in the league tho, regardless of his overinflated box scores

sorry?
