It’s almost a shame that he’s in this awkward range where he won’t play enough games to win ROY this year, but at the same time will be out of contention for winning it next season.

If he finishes the season having played 37 games and averaged something like 26/8/2 then I think he should be co-ROY with Morant.

1. Millsap was Denver’s 2nd best player last playoffs and is probably their 2nd best player overall.
2. Millsap is being saved for the playoffs which makes his numbers look worse than Ibaka’s this year.
3. Millsap has always been the better player, Ibaka’s defense has fallen off a cliff 6 years ago and he was overrated to begin with because of the stacked OKC team and fancy blocks.

23 ppg in less than 30 minutes per game and a 25 PER.

Those are allstar numbers and ja doesnt have that.
