So here's a question: which this year's rookies are most likely to be rotation players in the EC and WC finals and in the NBA finals? The answer is Payton Pritchard, although I think Tyrese Maxey and Sam Merrill have an outside chance.

Tyrese Maxey tonight:

11pts(4-7 FGA), 5rebs, 1ast, 1blk in 17mins

Following a debut of:

8pts(4-6 FGA), 1reb, 3ast in 12mins

Uber efficient. Him and Shake Milton been the stars of Philadelphia's preseason

Precious Achuiwa - 13 points and 16 boards in his 2nd pre-season stint. Been as good as advertised.

Immanuel Quickley with 22 points, 7-12 FGA, with 5 assist and 5 steals in his first start as a Knick. Definitely someone to look out for especially if the Knicks give him the starting PG job.

Quickley is looking like a steal right now!

If he continues to improve his handle, watch out.

He models his game after CJ McCollum. And to be quite frank, I see exactly why. Wow he’s rejuvenated this Knicks team.

Anytime someone has a big game vs the Cavs you have to watch out, especially a guard vs Sexton and Garland. Such a lockdown defense, can't believe Quickley shoot over 50%.

Tonight is what I expect on most nights this season for Flynn (Now that Lowry is back).

12 mins, 5 pts, 5 assists

Saying he has All Star Potential because he played extended minutes in a preseason game because starters were out vs a bad defensive team after being in college for 4 years seems a bit premature.

I'd guess first team:
Okoro- 2 points tonight on 1/5 shooting
Toppin 6 points on 2/5 shooting in 27 mins tonight
Avdija
Campazzo 3 points on 1/5 shooting in 15 mins tonight
Wiseman

2nd Team:
Ball
Vassell
Edwards
Williams
Haliburton

Only guys I feel confident on for 1st team are Toppin and Okoro think they have clearly defined roles they can excel at day-1.

Any chance you were making these predictions based on 2 preseason games too much?

He did that in the 4th quarter. And yes, unfortunately Nurse probably won't give him big minutes, especially to start the season. With that being said, he is so good right now that he should be in the 8 man rotation, he'll have to work himself into that spot. Surprised that you're trashing him given that he thoroughly outplayed LaMelo in both games.

I am not trashing him, but at 22.5 years of age he should be better in preseason then a 19 year old, LaMelo has flashed 10x the talent level that Flynn has so far so not worried about that. Flynn can shoot it a bit for sure, but he looks a lot like Monte Morris 2.0

Again think Raptors did a great job landing a rotation player late in the first, but redraft tomorrow and he still is not a lottery pick.

They have talent, fit with their teams, and have defied roles with an easy roadmap for 20-30 minutes from day1. Considering I put a guy who hasn’t even played on the first team I think it’s pretty clear it was more based on fit/talent/opportunity than anything else. I still like these picks now.

how did that turn out for FVV, OG? Keep doubting Masai who is a god.
and flynn the scrub according to you outplayed Ball multiple games so badly he almost cried. not every prospect sucks bc of age.
Theres a reason why Raps, Bulls, Miami GMs are top of the food chain and Hornets are bottom.
Funny you mention Flynn busted but 5pts in 4 attempts while dishing 5 assists in 10minutes is a great performance translating to 15/15/3 steals per 36. I had Ball as my top prospect but after falling to the wrong franchise, im 99% sure he will bust out.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

Not really. His passing is better, especially when you account for flash and his rebounding due to size. But outside of that Flynn is the better floor general in the sense that he knows how to run a team, he's a better shooter than LaMelo and the defense isn't even close. I would bet money that in 3 years if we do a redraft, Flynn is in the top 10.
