It depends how the game is officiated, if he's allowed to bulldozing through the people without being called for the offensive fouls like he did from 1998 to 2003 , I could see him drop 80 on Gobert and broke some of his bones too in the process.

Why does Shaq aim so low? Yhis would be like Steph Curry attacking CJ McCollum

One game, here's their head to head history:

I think Allen is great, but they aren't on the same level yet.

How many 45/16 games does Shaq even have in his career? I counted 7 in the regular season, but feel free to double check my work. How many of those were in 3 quarters? Maybe one?

Shaq is desperately insecure. Can we please replace this idiot with someone who is actually witty and charismatic.

The Jazz have won almost every game since the comments of Shaq on Gobert and Mitchell.....

the thing with Shaq is that he could have done it, if he wanted to just get the numbers. But if someone challenged 2001 Shaq to get 45 on Rudy Gobert in 3 quarters...it happens 60-70% of the time. And the biggest thing stopping it from happening is foul trouble.

He was just that unstoppable.

Shaq would get his, no doubt. Rudy does struggle a bit vs. huge centers. But, I'd like to see shaq play in todays' 3pt game. He never left the paint on defense for a reason. He might get 45, but his team would take the L.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Shaq would destroy the entire league  it'd be absolute murder if he was playing today.

No way Jazz would ever single cover Shaq and let him get his. If that happened Gobert would foul out way before Shaq could ever get to 45 and 16 on him.

Shaq averaged 23.4ppg 12.9rpg in 29 games against Mutombo, and his highs were 44pts and 20rbs. I would say that Gobert poses a similar threat as Mutombo would. Gobert does struggle some against massive players (like anybody does), but his biggest weakness is centers who like dragging him out of the paint like Jokic. Shaq would most likely have his way, but I'd say he'd be more in the 25-30ppg range and 12-15 range against Gobert. Keep in mind that the averages against Mutombo were in the 90s and 00's, a far slower pace vs today's game. Jazz would probably like to body up Favors more on Shaq cause he is much stronger.

I like the crotchety old-timer gimmick, but it's gone on long enough. Give it a rest man.
