So why did Westbrook take a 3 when he only needed a 2? SMH

Why a 3 WB? Drive he **** ball you had the lane.

That was the most predictable **** ever. Even when Russ plays well you can count on him to make a low IQ decision when it matters.

That's a bad shot. I get Westbrook made a couple threes before, but he's a 30% 3P shooter on the season. He should be collapsing the defense there and finding a shooter. They only needed a 2 to tie it so he'd draw the defense by going into the paint.

Solid game for big Russ

Wasn’t really a good shot. It was too well defended. He should have drove and dished to an open guy or gotten a layup and go to OT.

But his play was great in the 4th.

Jimmy Butler literally refusing to go 1 on 1 with Mann lmao. Keeps getting switches and picks. Oh well, no 20 point comeback today. Miami with a couple big 3s

Westbrook drive for Reaves 3 is the best play they can draw up.

I watched Kobe for 20 years. I can smell an iso, game-winning 3 coming before the timeout is even called.

But I don't have a huge problem with it. He's the only reason they were in it and nobody wants OT, so go for the W.

Let the Westbrook blame game begin...despite them getting blown out without his scoring....more points than all other 4 starters combined at a much higher percentage

Please don't quote season shooting %'s in a situation like that, if you're feeling it in a particular game those numbers go out the door

Here was some elements lakers should look into offensively. Let Westbrook play a bit more freely with Lebron on the bench and let him play with some shooters. Sure Hornets aren't very good defensive team but him drawing players into paint and tossing out to open shooters or 2ndary action is something that he has been doing his entire career.

Edit. also something I don't get why they don't run is old OKC weakside dunker spot action Westbrook and Thabo/Andre ran. Let THT pick that role for alleyoops and easy laups on Westbrook drawing attention to himself.

Spurs dominating DeMar and the Bulls, who might be the worst defensive team in the league with Lonzo and Caruso out (aside from Houston).

You know you can both say that Westbrook had a fantastic game and was the only reason they came back while also identifying that it was a bad decision for him to take an iso contested 3 as a 30% 3P shooter when the team is only down 2, right?

its amazing westbrook is getting blamed this game again by the haters. this guy is an all star if he plays without lebron, ad.
he needs usage and 3and D shooters. lebron and ad are basically clogging his lane.
as great as lebron is, its stupid to build around a 40yr old guy over a 5 yr younger version of him.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.
