I believe Embiid very likely clinched the MVP with that performance.

Jokic was rusty and didn't play his best. Giannis had a great performance as well.

We'll see how the voters decide.

There’s no way the league sets a precedent of bitching to get awards then again this is the nba we’re talking about

There’s nothing left to decide. Embiid is the mvp. Giannis isn’t winning it

Finally after months of bitching it can all stop and we can focus on the NBA. GJ Joel!

since the EPSN poll had Jokic winning it at 70% change... Nuggets and Jokic started changing the narrative by losing sloppy games...

Before the game, Embiid was a -270 to win, I would assume he only improved his chances with this performance. You might not like it, but it is what it is.

Is it MVP for the season or just whoever has the best last game?

It will be tough for Jokić to win now. It seems media campaign will work just like for Westbrook. I had Harden then as MVP, I have Jokić now.

Vote fatique is real guys. Trust me it will be a blessing in disguise for Jokic if he doesn't get a 3rd in a row in case the Nuggets fail to make a deep run in the post season.
Giannis doesn't need another regular season award to drastically improve his legacy.

Embiid finally gets one and the pressure for playoff success finally becomes real.

Right now, Embiid is at -500, Joker +600, Giannis +650 (Bet365).

Good on Embiid. As disliked as he by fans NOT media he played great this year. He’ll have the scoring title too

Embiid just sealed it on a night Jokic had a disasterclass vs the worst team in the league on a week of rest.

Great game against Embiid, but I feel like we have short term memory.

Just wanted to check if you're happy for everyone to just use short term memory now?

P.S. if we don't then someone might notice that Philly are only 5-5 over their last 10. Worst last 10 of any team with 45+ wins.

P.P.S. because of how MVP voting works Embiid did wrap it up today.

To most fans and talking heads it seems to be whoever had the best last game, which is funny because despite people constantly complaining about how they hate narratives for awards it's actually a big driver of narratives.

Such a weird thing to say. Would you say KD was terrible against Minnesota on almost 3 months of rest?

Embiid will continue the international dominance, it's okay, he deserves it. Hopefully next year Doncic can join in on the fun.
