Yup it’s pretty clear Denver is perfectly fine if Book and KD Jack up a lot of shots. They aren’t going to come and help. They’re staying at home so no one else is going to beat them. Basically saying, Book and KD are going to need to drop 40+ each to beat them.

And count on them being too exhausted to close the game out. Phoenix in Game 2 scored only 14 points in the 4th quarter.

Ya pretty sure this is exactly what Denver’s gamelan is. Don’t over help on Book or KD. Force them both to have to go 40+ to have a chance to win. 21 out of the 29 points for the Suns are from Book and KD (18 from Book haha).

But ya pretty sure this is the game plan. And can’t say I think it’s a bad one.

I was trying to avoid saying it, but... damn did I see KD wilt when he went head 2 head against the Warriors when both were at full strength (granted, Curry injured/gutting it out).

Durant hasn't looked the same since the '21 playoffs. Nets made out very well in the trade.

Not sure how Phoenix can tend with an aging KD and CP3.
