The public money should push them near the top (but Denver will still be the top favorite) but that’s what Vegas likes since you’ll have a bunch of Lakers bettors who will believe they are title contenders when at best they are just among the wild card teams in the West.

On topic: Bron just doesn’t have the aura of a Jordan, heck even just Kobe level, these ESPYs would have been must watch TV if it features the latter two but Bron does not have the same effect.

Yeah, I was being semi-sarcastic about the Lakers chances based on a prior thread on this board. Denver is the clear favorite and the rest is up for grabs.

And agree on your second point. Bron is just too corny

LOL. The fact that you think Jordan doesn't have any say/control in what is said on that account is a joke. If a LeBron affiliated Twitter said that, you would have a heart attack.

Did you cry again watching his speech?

But, does he also have an argument as GDOAT? Greatest Douche of All Time? Who would be the other candidates?

Not a-hole or anything, cause I don't think Bron is an a-hole. He doesn't seem mean-spirited at all.

But out of celebrities on his level, who would be the most purely narcissistic, egomaniacal, insecure, self-aggrandizing, insufferable douche?

Who else would have done this, put a crown on his own head un-ironically, etc.? Maybe we can get a short list. I'm sure there's some actor who would be a challenger to the throne.

Nah. Only guys born 2010 and later would agree to that. Lebron has a case top 5 all time, but not the GOAt. He’s disqualified after that embarrassing of a finals against the Mavs. After declaring not one, not two, not 3, but 6 finals losses lol.

We need a new thread and poll to see if lebron is the most douche athlete of all time. Voting options should be lebron vs field. I bet lebron wins hands down.

OP, seems like you enjoy this thread so why don't you create it?

Lol like he didnt ask her to say that come on man. If you dont think lebron james is insecure about his legacy you dont pay attention.

Why would he need to ask her, it's his wife. It's not like he's asking Wade (longtime Jordan fan) to say it.

James and Durant are the most insecure nba players ive ever seen. You know it too but you will defend James at all cost cause he is your favorite player. Just be honest man. Even some of his fans are calling him a douche bag for it.

LeBron does not seem insecure to me at all, genuinely.

I don't know why you think he's insecure, I assume that you want him to be insecure to make yourself feel better. I just think that's a losing battle there, haters have lost many hairs waiting for leBron to fall off, don't tie your self-worth to thinking this guy is insecure.

He's been told he was the chosen one at 16, he's been loved and hated in quantities that you could not fathom and he's still a goofy kid that puts up wins every day, every year. Nothing about him seems insecure.

Yes sir. The speech was eloquent and beautiful, and rivals Jimmy V's speech. Did you seethe with rage while watching it? I think we know that is a resounding yes.

Nah, I actually post in the Bulls forum all the time regarding the Bulls. Literally all you do is post about how much you hate LeBron James. The fact that you think absolutely despising a player is more normal than enjoying a player is funny. You put all your energy into hating him instead of enjoying basketball. You need to chill out.

Shaq is up there with KD as far as insecure players go. He is still so upset by Dwight using the "Superman" name. He gets so upset when Barkley pokes fun at him. His insecurity is ridiculous.

I don't think MavsDirk knows what insecure means tbh. When he hears LeBron James, it's like a bull seeing red.

I don't think people calling him insecure actually makes him insecure think. The opinion of you and your BFFs doesn't make LeBron insecure. But if you can point to reasons or examples of moments where he was insecure then that would help me understand where you are coming from.

I find it so strange that a certain group of people think it's more normal to spend their energy absolutely hating a player than enjoying players. Isn't sports about having fun and enjoying the game? Maybe it's time to step back and stop watching if you just focus on a player that makes you seethe.

Name me another all time great that took to twitter to congratulate himself on breaking 30 thousand career points. And if there was no social media, what all time great ran to the podium after the game to congratulate pat himself on the back for the same accomplishment.

Im gonna leave it at that. Your opinion differs from mine. Its what it is man. I think he is over the top corny on celebrating to himself over everything he does. If you are great, you dont need to tell people that. The results speak for themselves.

He might be corny, I think you can see it as corny or goofy. I just don't think that is an insecure action.
