What the hell happened to ben10simmons/cam24thomas and soon to be brandon24miller once she can changed her name again. Did 2K24 eat up all her time now that I haven't seen her posting for more than a week

Bethesda hasn't published a great game since Fallout New Vegas...And even that one wasn't Bethesda but Obsidian i believe.
It looks like fallout 4 but in space.
Well, Bethesda the publisher, publishes good games, but Bethesda the game studios, is different thing. AS you said, New Vegas wasnt theirs, and their gave Obsidian 18 months to make, can you imagine the nonsense. I believe that game reused Fall out 3 assets sure, but to write and make a game, especially so non linear with so many branching stories, it is ridiculous it was made in 18 months.
SKYRIM and Starfield took Bethesda like 6 years, at least?
I always had love and hate relationship with Bethesda games. Like SKYRIM. I can see why most people love it and say it is one of the goats. I love open world and how dynamic it is, NPCs just doing their thing, very little scripted bullcrap, leveling system is amazing. I love all the mechanics like alchemy, enchanting etc. I love that you see a guy, you can loot everything he has till the trousers, not some random drop chances he drops some item.
But... other things, are so inept sometimes. Constant loading screens, graphics of their game is always outdated, ANd what kills me is their NPCs. THey built lore for sure, but NPCs that boss you around are so shallow imo. SKYRIM is podcast game, because I dont care what any of these people saying, they might as well just be cardboard cutouts, and their character and quest design is so inept at hiding the fact that you basically just going back and forth from place A to Place B like a moron. Like, yes, every game is like that, but they hide that fact. Like compare SKyrim to Witcher 3. Yes, Witcher 3 will make go from place A to place B, slay something, then comeback. But it is written and presented so much better, you really believe you doing something important. In SKYRIM, I just play, it can be addiicting, but at the end, I realize I dont give a F about anything, I just following that marker of theirs.
I found it funny that I complained about it for years, and fanboys alwways called me stupid. But then Bethesda came and made Fallout 76, which is to me, a blatant addmition, that they never themselves thought NPCs are important, its a sandbox game with just lore, all of their games was nothing more but that IMO.
That said, I will stay try Starfield, it does look a bit interesting, I dont care about AI generated garbage empty space, but I will give them a chance, because I like Bethesda RPG mechanics still. But I still have Baldurs Gate 3 to boot up.
I agree with you. Skyrim especially...It's pretty much a sim for people. You can buy houses, horses etc. The story i dont even remember if it had one to be honest. What was it again? You're like some fireborn or whatever and you need to collect scrolls?
I tried it twice. Both times i did everything else but the man quest that i got drained...I never finished it. The narrative in the Witcher is just miles better. You feel the stakes are big in the game. I remember playing it long time ago and i was cautious as hell with the choices i made. You felt like Geralt was fighting a losing battle of sorts. It was great.
Skyrim is more you create your own story which is great fun. But for some reason i couldn't get into it. Could be the setting and the over abundance of quests to be honest. By the time i quit i had like 20+ active quests and i just couldn't be bothered.
I never got that with New Vegas. Then again i am a sucker for post nuclear world themed game.
I watched Starfield gameplay and it looks like fallout in space. Which if you are a fan of that is great. It's a winning formula to be honest. The game doesn't have to be legendary. The mechanics have proven to sell.
I do wish they'd let Obsidian take another go on another fallout game. I wish New Vegas would get a remake.

I'm not sure what's really mind blowing about it. $60 a year is not really that much money. A venti iced coffee at Starbucks is $6 now. You're talking about potentially hours of entertainment for $60. If you take your wife to a movie it's probably $40 with drinks / popcorn.
If anything, it's the biggest value in the world
What in the hell is a venti iced coffee and why in the hell is it 6 bucks? Last time I was at starbucks, 2 months ago, I ordered a large coffee and it was under 3...
You ordered a large hot coffee - after tax, it's over $3. Venti signifies the large size.
A venti Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is almost $6 now...things have changed.

Lol people still disrespect LeBron.
Luka is over hyped and AD is injury prone.
LeBron at 39 is still in the conversation with these dudes tells you all you need to know.
LeBron is still HIM!

Starbucks was my thing before inflation hit. Now I'm Dunkins atw!
Also how the hell do people drink Starbucks black coffee?
I tried their hot coffee twice and my heart was literally beating hella fast. Never again! I loved their iced coffee and expresso drinks. Only reason I quit going because my regular drink went from $5 to $8.

I mean a black coffee with a couple shots of expresso is nice. Just as long as there's no freaking sugar or cream in it! Duncan's coffee is just not good however. I don't mind their wakeup wraps but I'd just go ahead and drive over to star bucks for their coffee.
And that heart thing sounds like something I'd get checked out. Black coffee doesn't have more caffeine than coffee filled with sugar...or poured over ice.

The revamped gameplay is really fun and much more realistic this year. Pro Play is really good
I am skipping out on MyCareer though. Those microtransactions are a major turn off

No I'm perfectly fine drinking any black coffee. It's just Starbucks black coffee is more potent than any other coffee I have tried. Like I said I can drink anything on Starbucks menu besides their black coffee. That stuff is STRONG!
Dunkins is pretty good if you ask me. No their quality is not as good as Starbucks but it gets the job done. I always add an expresso shot in my iced coffee drinks to give it more of a kick.
Winter is when I usually do my black coffee. Nothing like a black coffee and a doughnut to start your day.

I only buy 2K every other year at most. I buy it, spend a ton of VC, remember I suck ... get fustrated and never touch is after December.
