Marion isn't as accomplished...or even close.

Way higher PER you swap prime marion for prime Draymond and the warriors still win those titles.

Draymond would have been perfect to replace Rodman in the '90s in that Detroit team.
The game has changed since then.

Right now, he's hurting his own legacy. He's one of the smartest players to ever play his position and he has been instrumental to the warriors dynasty.
But if he thinks that he can keep getting away with this crap due to his past success he's mistaken.
People loved the warriors for Steph. For the splash brothers. Although draymond was the natural leader of that team, he wasn't loved like his teammates and it's not difficult to understand why.

Golden State has a difficult decision to make.
I like Steve Kerr a lot. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes.
But the organisation has to move on.
I'm sorry for draymond but he needs help. We can't make more excuses. He's mentally ill, he has to seek help.
If I'm Silver, I'm banning him for the entire season solely because he has done it repeatedly.

As it does to every player, Rodman in particular was pretty much a non factor for much of the last two Chicago chips in '97 & '98 for, I know he was benched at one point for Kukoc. Later signed and cut by the Mavs for not giving a ****, rinse and repeat for the Lakers. He got **** on by fans around the time and still easily made the hall. We will see the same thing happen to Draymond.

Rodman was a much better and more impactful player IMO. Draymond might make it. I don't think he's worthy but the basketball HOF is easy to get in. He's lucky he played with some great teams.

No doubt, if K.C. Jones made it, Draymond is a shoe in.

This is years of being enabled by the entire Warriors organization and the nba finally rearing it’s ugly head. Kerr still pats him on the back though when the cameras are off

I’ve rooted for this team since there was a debate if they or the Clippers were the worst franchise in the league. This is the first time I’ve been embarrassed to be a fan of them.

Who?

Been naming them all thread. Being on a good team does not make a hall of famer.

You said more accomplished. You haven't named a single person. You've come up with ways to discredit Dray's accomplishments which isn't remotely the same thing. The reality is you can't name anyone because there isn't.

In terms of his antics, he not Rodman. Rodman was hard nosed but not usually dirty. He's not comparable to the enforcers either. He's Laimbeer. The cheap shot bully that needs to be hit back.

PER a box score metric. That isn't an accomplishment. Now I personally think Shawn Marion should be in the hall. But if you're going by accomplishments, he won't get in before Dray. Their is a huge gap there.

Yeah, Rodman saved his anger for camera men....and Karl Malone.

Imagine comparing a dude whose career started in the 50s when there was like 8 teams. Of course it was easier to get into the HOF from that era. Also has more ringers then fingers. Both playing and coaching. Which if he didnt win those rings as a HC he wouldnt have got in. Stat lines arent that different either. too bad they didnt count steals and blocks back then.

I agree. And just like Laimbeer was a very smart player, so is draymond. And just like everyone wanted to hit Laimbeer for his antics, I'm sure a lot of players today want to do the same with draymond.
They would gel perfectly.
Rodman was dirty with Pippen and the Bulls. In general he was more likeable i believe.

He can't say anything bad about Draymond because he still wants him to **** his wife after the game.

Nah.

He knew he'd have to take some blame for letting the Nutcracker get this bad.

Given his long and flagrant history of being an **** he should get a season long suspension. If the NBAPA wants to fight it let them. **** Draymond Green. No one can defend that piece of filth.
