GSP wrote:Just saw the end of game highlights for Warriors against Wolves...............its absolutely wild how moving illegal screens are not called anymore. Sometimes a ref will call it against the 9th man to make a dumb point but its not enforced

Rudy and Draymond were straight up holding and pushing defenders as screeners in refs face as their shooters got open. Show this to coaches or league a decade ago and theyd be speechless

thanks Warriors for this

Every time I see a Celtics fan complain about moving screens (you are NOT wrong) I just get flashbacks of Garnett laughing about it and Perkins making a career out of it. KG made a joke about it at one point, saying Perkins was only allowed to do it because they were teammates (when Perk was moved to OKC)

Refs have always allowed the older big men to get away with it but Perk got grandfathered into that club by just being on the same team as KG.

But like I said you aren't wrong. The game today is full of moving screens. Ironically as the league has more skill than ever it is also incredibly sloppy due to the lack of properly officiated games. Travel/Carry and moving screens all just kill me, then you add in the rip through jumpers and it is just painful at times.

So, last night I almost replied to one of your comments (not sure if it was this one or another) with this:

"I've been surprised at the lack of rigged games for the last week or two. We'll see if the Lakers game tonight changes this trend."

The only reason I didn't post it was because I decided to sleep instead of watching that game.

Then I wake up and see the Lakers shot 27 more free throws than the Pacers in a 5-point win.

I don't really buy this hamstring excuse for Haliburton's poor play. The dude has just been found out - he's a great but not Elite player just yet.

If it was really the Hammy, he wouldn't have played at the ASG as much as he did. It's just pure excuses for him reverting to who he really is after that hot stretch of a couple of months to start the season.

If we like you, you get your excuses. If we don't, you don't.
