Are some people ever going to give the Pacers the credit they deserve? They reached the ECF last season, they were one of the best teams in the league in the last 50 or so games of this season when they were healthy, they've had numerous clutch wins in this playoff run and they have been getting contributions from everyone while being led by a rising star in Haliburton and a proven playoff performer/Championship-winning 2nd option in Siakam with one of the most successful playoff coaches of the past few decades in Carlisle. So many people still think it's all just luck.

I lost 25 pounds in about seven weeks by not eating.

That put me roughly at my target weight, but in terms of body composition, I'm still probably like five months away, minimum. Not much muscle.

Today I'm feasting on nachos, quesadillas, Mexican coke, and Fanta. Probably gain 5-6 pounds. Resume diet tomorrow.

Hope to start hitting the gym the last week of this month.

It’s down right fun tracking the Pacers playoff stats. Hali leading in defensive rebounding, which is huge. No one over 2 turnovers per despite the first half debacle of game 1. Their worst shooter (Mathurin) has a .526 effective field goal % which is freaking insane. All the starters with robust on/off, making all the reserves’ on/off ugly af

Why do Finals Games on Sunday start at 8pm EST? I understand on the weekend why they start so late but on the weekend they would get a large audience if the game started earlier.

They're awesome, and it's definitely not (out of the ordinary) luck, but most sensible people still expect them to lose, which tempers the hype. I picked OKC in six, expecting IND to take one of the first two games. So we're right there.

If they win tonight, people will flip their picks. Personally, I might still take OKC in seven, depending on how the game went.

IND is awesome, but people just don't see them as on OKC's level. Need to see more than a one game sample in which IND leads for 0.3 seconds of the game.

OKC was outrebounded by 17, and if it'd been 16, they probably would've won. I heard OKC made the fewest passes in this game by any team all season, regular season or playoffs. They basically fell asleep, and the alarm clock was the final buzzer. There's a bevy of low hanging fruit for Daigneault and Co. to pick. We'll see tonight whether they pick it.

Good job man. Fasting really is a cheat code. Your 5-6 pounds will likely be retaining more water due to intake of excess sodium.

Same reason why they play the ASG Sunday @ 8pm when nothing else is on. Silver is in love with that time slot. The game should have been played last night @ 8pm or today @ 4pm

It makes no sense. The super bowl kicks on Sunday at 6:30 EST. The Finals should tip off at 7 on the dot.

The betting markets have been interesting in this series. When the odds opened up on the site I bet on, Indiana was +10.0 in the spread and +430 in the moneyline. A couple days later, now, they're at +11.5 but +370 in the money line. For the spread to move in OKC's favor and moneyline to move in Indiana's favor is interesting.

It seems to suggest that many people believe OKC winning by less than 10 is not as likely of an outcome as either OKC blowout or Indiana close win.

It's crazy like everything Silver does but I'm loving it from the west coast. full day of activities then catch the finals at 5. Go Adam!

I live on the west coast now too but grew up on the east coast and my cousin is complaining about it. His kid wants to watch the full game and can't. So dumb.

There's USFL/UFL conference championship games on right now, football.
Also, college baseball world series playoff games too.

Maybe that's why? Lol. I don't know. But, honestly. 7pm EST isn't too bad. Primetime slot and also in the beginning of Summer time.

Edit. Ooppss. Meant 8 PM EST.

7 PM here in CST, Texas lol. Perfect for us.

Lol.

It comes in a glass bottle with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. It tastes better. It's made by Coca Cola.

Good one!

But, ya. It's coke cola from Mexico . Over there, they use real sugar from sugar canes. Distinct taste.

In Texas we get them from Mexico.
