Manu's just great... didn't have a big game offensively, but still impacted the game significantly

I still don't see how the Spurs are boring (relating to their play)... maybe I've just seen too much of them compared to other people.

I do not want to hear the difference between Kobe and Lebron is defense ever again. Kobe's D is so overated. Especially his ability to rotate and stay with his man. In my opinion Lebron is a smarter defender which is important.

Yeah, but in your opinion, Andrew Bynum is the MVP of the Lakers, so nobody really cares what you think.

In all my years of watching NBA basketball, I am not sure I have seen a more horrendous low post defender than Amare. I am pretty sure most high school centers could drop 20 on him haha.

Same could be said about Al too. Amare shot 14 of 15..that's far worse then Al's 15 of 29.

True, except Amare basically doesn't even play on the low post. I don't consider wide open dunks down the middle of the lane on a fast break spoon fed from Nash as hard work on the low block.

the hornets are number 1 in the west, also surprising and get 6 consecutive wins for the first time this year!

the raptors beat the celtics? after losing to the sixers? lol! the c's defense took a nap, but what a great win for toronto. maybe they'll finally turn it around.

lakers lost to the spurs, and spurs win two in a row now? maybe they've turned it around, but i still can't tell if the lakers will suffer without Andrew Bynum with the drop off of last years elite teams in the west.

i still don't get why people are shocked when the c's lose. detroit has look horrible lately, and the c's lose a game here and there, and all of a sudden they get criticized? yeah, 7 losses - what a sucky team huh? Cleveland is hot lately.

Yep. They're offensive games (and rebounding) differ noticably.

Anyways, Greg Oden must enjoy looking like a retired player. He looked old as dirt without the glasses and hair. He reminds me of Laurence Fishburne in that movie "Akeelah and the Bee."

All the Celtic's losses are close games. Is that something their fans should be concerned about?

-Came short against a comeback against the Magic
-Lost in OT against the Cavs are trailing most of the way
-Detroit got lucky with a foul on TA
-Two losses to Wizards were just them being outplayed, especially the Wizards comeback.
-Bobcats just hustled most of the game and beat them by 10+
-Raps game was close.


The Celts are going to be alright.

they have 7 losses! it would be a problem if they were the grizzlies and lost 20 games by 5 points or less - which is what memphis is going through.

i'd be more worried if a team is blown out in losses. close games - you just have to give credit to the other team.

its a shame teams like the bobcats get up to play the celtics, and really, only the celtics. if they showed more effort like they did against the celtics, they'd be in the playoffs this year.
if ray took the last shot tonight, well he's hit two game winners this year already.

watch bargs put up zero points next game - if that happens, dear god!

7-9 14 points 16 rebounds so far for kaman. kings have no one to contain a big man, especially with miller in the middle. thats going to be the kings' demise in any potential playoff push.

yeah cuz lawrence frank is a great coach! he's a real motivater!

lol at the kings making a playoff push! maybe, but how many teams are over .500 in the west and not in the top 8? the lakers might suffer without bynum for a while, but both houston and utah are better than the kings. and don't forget gsw, nuggets and all those other really good teams well above .500.

the spurs stopping that "they're getting old" thing for a while. i hope they realize this is not the year to slack off during the regular season. the hornets are atop their division for the second time this season, and dallas is still a great team. if they want homecourt, they need to play better than .500 ball!

the west is sooo much better this year that the spurs can't afford the tricks they've done the last few seasons.

Im still waiting for the Celtics to beat the Spurs, Suns, Mavericks, and Hornets.... Oh yeah and they still havent beat LeBron.

I expect quite a few more losses to pile up still. There schedule is finally starting to get difficult, so we'll find out a lot about them in the coming weeks.
