3 cheers for the bonafide superstar averaging an incredible 13.5 points on 40% from the field!

Look at the Laker trolls posting only after a bad Manu game. Ridiculous.

I see a Spurs fan posting about how much Manu sucks. And he's overrated after every good game as well as every bad game.

Well when he has his A game and healthy, he is as good as any other SG not named Kobe.

You mean like how all the Manu fans came out after his great game 3?

Its how realgm works, I don't see why everyone complains about it.

Uh, the Manu fans were already here from day 1.

The point is, you can't judge a player's worth after a handful of games. And you certainly can't make all of these knee-jerk reactions on games where the player is not even close to 100%. It's like these people didn't start watching basketball until this year. Ginobili's past playoff performances didn't happen, I guess.

After game 3 there was a rush of pro-manu posts.

I agree with you that you can't judge a player based on one playoff series. But thats what happens on realgm. If a player or team has a bad game, the haters come out. If they have a good game, they are the greatest thing in the world.

If people would call a spade a spade, and see Manu for who he really is ( A very good role player on a championsip level team), then threads like these wouldn't exist, and "haters" wouldn't have reasons to "hate"..

Ginobili is a star, not a role player. Bruce Bowen is a role player. Ronny Turiaf is a role player. I don't know a lot of role players scoring about 20 points a game in under 35 minutes.

You may be correct ( I may have used the phrase a bit loosely 8) ), but he's by no means the type of star some people are trying to potray him as in this thread..

I dunno how injured one can be if you can play. I would say he is overrated but he is definitely a star player. He is the catalyst of the Spurs. Lakers would seemingly have recognized that and went straight at him and it has worked. Give the Lakers credit. Most teams try to stop Duncan. They decided to take Manu out of this series. It has resulted in a 3-1 advantage for LA.
