Meh expect more mins for Kawhi and Lowry to actually score a bucket going forward

Raptors in 6, 5 if Lowry plays to his RS standards

I’d probably agree. Our halfcourt offense stinks. I think we win game 4 at home and that’s it.
Swinging for the fences.

It's not like Magic really has a shot in this series (even after winning Game 1)?

I like how supremely confident Raptors fans are that they are going to wreck this reportedly massively overmatched Magic team. I agree the Raptors will shoot better, so will the Magic's best players though.

Yea, Gordona nd Vuc didn't shoot well at all. I was and still am expected Vuc to dominate the series, regardless of whether the Magic lose or not.. I think he's physical and skilled enough and I don't see who can guard him on that Raptors team.
Good assessment:

LOL. Without even trying to elaborate.

Kawhi played 33 minutes.

You're managing his minutes for next season.

It looks like Clifford is trying to match Gordon's minutes with Kawhi's. I know Isaac played 40 to match Siakam's.

Not saying AG is nearly as good as Kawhi but Isaac means so much for winning for the Magic.

It's pretty obvious that you don't watch many Raptors games...

I watched a handful and wasn't impressed by Gasol he seems like a shell of his former self.

Do you attribute any of the Raptors increase in 3pt shooting % to Gasol being on the floor?

Powell and Gasol are guarding Ross and Vuc as good as any other players in the league.

It's embarrassing that Fournier is being guarded by Vanvleet and Lowry.

Ok Rap fans ... let’s stop being over confident!

This is the same over confidence we had in the Wizard series when we got swept.

The Magic mean serious business and are looking to shock the world.

We have a disadvantage right now with our point guard and our coach. You can’t win a series without your pg being able to score. It just doesn’t work.

We’re in a dog fight and every game needs to be played like it’s our last. No more of this non chalant chit Nurse is doing.

Funny thing is I thought we'd lose against Washington, but in 6 games rather than a sweep. They thoroughly outplayed us in the regular season, but we got lucky with one of our shooters like Terrence Ross going off. When they all choked it was inevitable we'd lose. In all the matches we played against Orlando, including game 1, I never once felt like we were ever clearly better.

They're not just a good team, but they're a complete matchup nightmare for us.

Even though I fully expect Toronto to win the series I do hope the rest of the games are as entertaining.

Thank you.
I saw a lot of posts saying how the Raptors are gonna sweep the rest of this serie without difficulties, because MVP Dj is not gonna happen anymore, playoffs lowry will play ...
But a lot of people are forgetting that the Orlando's first 3 offensive options were pretty bad on this win.
Orlando will give everything. Game 1 was a quick reminder on how they never give up. This playoff race set them in playoffs mode since a month.

We beat them with Vuc, Ross, Gordon, and Fournier having subpar games. That is incredible. Toronto gave us the best they could give minus Lowry. Even if Lowry shows up, do we really think that those 4 Magic Men I just mentioned will not have better games?

Do you really think that was the best the Raptors could give the Magic? I mean, Lowry scoring zero points isn't insignificant. He's scores four points (which is a more than reasonable request), we win the game. I mean, kudos to the Magic, but that was not a good game from the Raptors.

to say if he scored 4 points you win is funny to me he only took 7 shots...blame him if you want he did a lot of things right..magic top scorers were worse vuc, ross and Gordon ..magic top 3 during reg season shot 8 for 35...8 for 35!...so if you can say if he scored 4 points rap win...

nurse needs to play around with the rotation a bit. Having OG out is huge since raps have no back up 4 and the bench wings are all midgets. I'd like to see lowry playing more with ibaka since ibaka looked lost on getting to his spot. have FVV with kawhi to have an additional floor spacer on half court.

Trying to be as objective as I can be, lowry missed many wide open 3's while vuc is being guarded by gasol full time. Not saying either player is guaranteed to have a better performance for the rest of the series but it's easier to knock down open shots than overcome a still very good post defender.

You don’t see anyone that can guard Vucevic? What about Gasol, the guy that contested pretty much all of Vucevic’s shots and made him shoot 3/14. If Raptors didnt have Gasol then I agree Vuc would be dropping 30ppg on Ibaka.

Raptors for the series only -320? Seems like a gross overreaction.

No not by any means, but you can't really play the "If lowry scored 4 points we would have won game" considering how Vuc played. He has been one of the most consistent offensive scorers in the league the entire year and had pretty easily his worst game of the season. If Vuc had played his normal game we could easily say that we would have won even despite Lowry playing better but thats just not how it works.
