Serbia was really overrated, they wouldn't even be able to beat spain's bench in their best years.

that 2015 semifinal still hurts hm?

Lol maybe
Even if PAu could defend like a boxer, and Gobert and LAuvergne had to keep hands in their back, french players could only blame themselves for this loss. They did not "killed the game".

Serbia was probably overrated but yet Spain had some luck with all those turnovers from the former, Jokic out, etc. Great defence and hustle though, not to mention Scariolo being great at rotations. Never expected this team to deliver, but Spain getting better as the tournament progresses is just a classic and must confess now I am rather interested to see how this unfolds.

Also Claver MVP LOL.

Great day for Spain, you win in basketball against favored Serbia, and Nadal has the US open final that he should win.

Priceless

I saw this coming. They won nothing. And the best part is Spain has a better team by far, on both enda. They have several scorers who play defense. they just play hard when it counts. And outside of USA they are probably being the best team for the last 15 years, with some ups and downs.

In Serbia, Aside of Bogdanovic they didn t show anything special. Cant wait to watch humble Serbs crying when they get blown out by USA

It's easy to say that now, but they don't have a better team by far. They are all in the same category, Spain, Serbia, France, Lithuania, Australia. Serbia just felt too good after their easy wins this tournament, but they haven't faced serious competition, and that includes Italy.

can someone explain this tournament process?

Isn’t it labeled an eliminator game but Serbia is or is not eliminated? What’s going on?

Well, at least i put my balls on the line before a game. Not just coming out after results suit me.

You guys got peppered at EURO's by 20 points with a better team than this, so pipe down. You get a free ride against Poland but Joe Harris is coming for you guys as well.

Bogdan with 36 index.

26 points 9/14 FA, 10 rebounds, 6 assists with just 1 TO.

Monster game, and we didn't knew how to use him in 4Q.

Spain has won Italy and now Serbia by a large margin. To me, that puts them slightly above the rest of teams not named USA. They lack scoring machines like Navarro and Pau, but even without them they are still over the rest. Maybe Australia can say something by being the only one who stole a Game to USA. But iif i have to bet on one team to reach the final it wouldn t be that Serb team.

Remember when this Serbian team was suppose to be better than 2008-2012 Spain natl teams? Another reason why you need to examine opponents before going crazy after blowing out the Philippines

So the quarterfinals known so far is..

Argentina vs. Serbia

Spain vs. Poland

Does anyone know how the tiebreakers work in Fiba. Group K, with USA/Greece/Brazil/Czech is tricky.

U know why it's better we lost... We now have to beat Argentina, probably USA in the semis and than win in the finals to win it all

So if we have won today, everybody would say we had the easiest path to the gold ever and similar ;)
