If the season ended today Embiid would have the highest PER season of all time breaking Jokic’s season record. Embiid is no doubt the mvp so far this season as he sits 15-3 in games he’s played so far this year.

I don't usually update my top 10 until 10 games have been played, but Embiid has officially surpassed Jokic for the top spot. That could change as the season progresses, but Embiid has now done enough to clearly take hold of the top spot.

Another dominant game by SGA. 38/5/5 with 5 steals and a block. 3rd game in a row with 5+ steals.

You don’t just have an amazing season (seasons of doing this) then turn into Hasheem Thabeet for 2 games in a row. There’s something clearly wrong with Jokic.

Doesn’t matter. No one cares about that. Put up or shut your mouth. I predicted the downfall regardless. Nuggets will not be a top seed that even warrants him getting MVP anyways

Embiid with another massive night, while Jokic is playing more like Nikola Jovic. Looks like a big bucket of lard out there these last two nights.

Btw you can read my posts from last season. I had Embiid winning it. Right now I have Embiid as number 1.

This is Lowkey an underrated big man era. Jokic, Giannis, and Embiid will all go down as all timers and they keep spoiling us. Their numbers aren’t even close to normal but they make it look easy

If Embiid won MVP two years in a row, people here would lose their minds. It would be fun watching the meltdown. I still think Jokic is the slight favourite, but Embiid is letting the MVP runner-up from last season know that the big dawg is in the house.

You're being too nice. After Embiid's last 7 games and Jokic's recent run, and the Nuggets record I don't see how he can be in the lead.

Jokic looks a lot fatter than this time last season.

18-58 for the last two matches.

Giannis
Embiid
Jokic
Shake
Luka
Hali

That is the list. Embiid could be first tho. 1 more loss, Nokic drops all the way down

Embiid is protecting his efficiency ducking good defensive teams, he is feasting on teams like the hawks and wizards.

Embiid
Jokic
Giannis/SGA

Embiid deserves to be ahead at this stage, he’s been great the last few seasons but I think he’s took another leap this year. We are watching 2 ATG Centre talents (I’m sure post season success will come for Embiid, as long as he stays healthy)

I agree Embiid is front runner right now. With Jokic playing subpar for his standards the last couple of games.

How's James Harden doing decimating every franchise he plays for?
