Easy to say that when you can't be proven wrong.

Bucks are playing at a level where every loss of theirs is a surprise. Mavs could beat them, ofc, but they'd be heavy underdogs

Mavs did beat L.A. twice (well, should have been twice). Would have been a great game with Luka.

Imagine what this win would've done for Luka's MVP case if he was playing.

But looks like that supporting cast is legit and he isn't carrying a bunch of bums.

This game just gave Bron a nice boost. Both Giannis and Luka were losers of the night in terms of the mvp race.

I still have Giannis slightly ahead of Bron. If lakers win Thursdays game, Bron will take the #1 spot for me.

That’s why one game samples or takeaways are so silly. Anyone can have an off or on night in the nba. Hence the need for a 7 game series.

Giannis' Anthony Davis just put 9 points on 12 shots with clownish performance on the defensive side.

Giannis had 48 points on 18/31
The rest of the bucks had 68 points on 26/74.

I'm sure it hurt him a lot in the MVP battle.

I never said it hurt him a lot... MVP typically goes to the best player on the best team. If Lakers win away on Thursday, momentum will start shifting towars LeBron.

The fact that bucks won without him a couple nights ago doesn't help it either...

There is no way that Luca should be ahead of Lebron.

Mavs victory hurts the MVP case for both Luka and Giannis.

Worse team record.

Mavs lost in OT against a good team the game before and won against the top team today..all without him...

It's not a one game sample though. Mavs' bench has been insane all year, and almost beat the Heat in their last game too. This team is deep and coached by the best coach in the league.

Why? No player in history did it alone, you need a supporting cast to get to somewhere. Simple as that. But Mavs team is not filled with superstars, even KP is only finding his way back. They have bunch of good role players and Luka is simply connecting the dots. Unless you think THJ and Curry are real stars in this league? I would say the same goes for Giannis.

The two player who depend the most on Luka had terrible games, going for 2-16. Powell with Luka is pretty much the best roll finisher in the league. Today useless. THJ didnt get his open shots playing off Luka and went 1-10

So thats about the Mavs missing Luka...

This game does nothing but bolster Giannis chances to win MVP, everyone now knows that without Giannis the bucks are dog sht. Miss me with that “50 win team” crap. Just don’t lose two games b2b @ home

Yet they beat the best team in the league, who was on an 18 game winning streak, without Luka...

Sure but are the mavs better without luka? Or course not. And bucks could easily beat the mavs with luka on the right day. I’m just saying any team can win or lose on the right day.

Obviously lukas cast is a little underrated and very good. That’s not what I meant by sample size just purely the win or loss.
