What a joke, I hope LeBron defeats them again. KD the hypocrite lmao.
How is this fun? Where is the competition? Just skip to next April because there's no point of watching the regular season.

I hope Durant is mentally strong enough to handle the villain role, because he just became NBA Enemy #1.
He became enemy without insulting, provoking anyone?
He became enemy because he wanted to play with curry or green in a brilliant team that everybody enjoy watching?
He became enemy without saying anything bad about his previous team?
When rodmann joined jordan and pippen, why nobody didn't say anything bad about the bulls becoming an all star team?
Maybe because everybody loved watching that awesome team?
If you want to beat GS just play better than them. Make neutral fans enjoy your team's bball.
If you play better, you will win regardless of SC, KD or anyone else.
Congrats to KD, congrats to GS, this team(if they find chemistry) may become the greatest of all time. Champions or not(nash's suns played the best bball i've seen for a long time even without a ring-i don't care. I will always remember them and thank them)

I think it's partly surprise - rodman was a tool and not a top 10 player, let alone top 3-5. So when he joined the Bulls, it was just rodman being a knob. If that's the bar for durant, so be it, but i think most people thought he had a more competitive nature.

As it stands right now you can't deny Golden State has won the 2016-2017 title. Kevin Durant is nothing more than a front runner. But the Cavs do not have a prayer of a chance of beating them in a game in the finals let alone the series. Probably in 2017-2018 as well barring injury.

They need to incorporate a rule that you can't use the same team repeatedly. Otherwise it will be no fun.

nobody here would get to that low level imo, rings are nice, but warriors games are awesome on their own.
Oh please don't start this "you dont deserve so and so".

Re: Durant II - Durant to GSW
I don't see the big deal.
I remember everyone said Miami would win not one, not two, not three.... But they lost to Dallas year one...
I don't think anythings a given.
Warriors lost the finals when everyone thought they'd. beat Cleveland.
Nothing is a shoe in, they still have to play the games.
This is a league league, not a team league.

LeBron has to guard KD and be guarded by Iggy....
Cleveland needs to do something drastic if they want to compete with Golden State.
Handsome.

Re: Durant II - Durant to GSW
Have mixed feelings, on one hand Bennett and okc management deserves this after all they've done, also they've been skint until last year
However this is a losers move by Durant, he wants an easy ring and honestly cannot respect that. Boston even represents a fairer option at a ring, would it be hard, yeah sure, but he would have earned it, this will just be a walk in the park barring a disaster

Well, the Warriors were better than Miami ever was BEFORE they added Durant, so this is quite a bit worse than that in terms of the competitive balance of the league.

Re: Durant II - Durant to GSW
This move might have made the NBA this season a chore.
It has been mentioned a lot but what KD decided today is way worse than LeBron going to Miami(minus the televised special...that was cringeworthy).
The NBA just became a little less interesting today.I ll say this though. If LeBron can actually beat this GSW team then MJ is 1a and he is 1b on my list

Re: Durant II - Durant to GSW
How can you get beat by a team you went up 3-1 and then decide to join them?
Like Durant pretty much was like, "I can't beat the Warriors. Might as well join them. We both loss when up 3-1."
This is really all OKC's fault, they had 3 top 5 NBA players on their roster, had went to the Finals and freaking chose freaking Kendrick Perkins over freaking James Harden because (defense). Kevin Durant left because OKC failed him. I am pretty sure Westbrook is gonna leave too.
If you don't pay your best players, if you don't surround them with all-star level talent, they gonna leave. Today's players are used to being on stacked teams. This isn't the Jordan Era or even the Post Jordan '00 era where everybody wanna be the man and there's Jerry Stackhouse, Allen Iverson and TMac leading scrubs and dropping 30 point a game.
I think Durant did the right thing, he wants to win a freaking win, he wanna be part of greatness, so he makes one of the greatest teams ever. He leaves a two man show to create an ensemble.

Westbrook won't go to the Lakers, they won't be good for several years at least. Westbrook can't go to Clippers either.
I would love to see Westbrook to Orlando happen, they're a point guard away from being top 5 in the east.
Russell / Payton
Fournier
Hezonja / Green
Ibaka / Gordon
Vucevic / Biyombo
That's a heck of a lineup.
You sir are a gentleman and a scholar ... too bad I don't think it will happen

I bet dregs of every fanbase would burn their top players jerseys if they went to the best team/rival even if on best intentions
The Greatest of All Time debate in basketball is essentially who has the greatest basketball resume of the player who has the best highlights instead of who is the best player
