Winning requires a lot more than just stats add together. It requires everyone to buy into their assigned role and the system.

Well, Ewing isn't nearly as egotistical as Shaq for one. And two, Phil kept them long together enough to win 3 championships. I don't see how Ewing and Jordan would be a problem for a coach to handle.

6. 2016 Cavs
7. 2009 Lakers
8. 2013 Heat
9. 2012 Heat
10. 2017 Warriors

2015 Warriors are far too high in this list. They had a relaxing route to that championship. Firstly, the Cavs were emaciated, without Irving and Love (yet they still gave GSW a fight). I'm not sure Golden State beats a healthy Cleveland that year, especially considering what happened the next year.

Additionally, the Warriors got lucky by getting New Orleans, Memphis, and Houston in the playoffs. The Clippers inexplicably blew a 3-1 lead to Houston; lord knows how. The Clippers would have taken GSW that year; San Antonio too.

The man left fat stacks on the table to get it done. So happy for him.

If Ewing join the Bulls, there will be no ring.

If Phil can win with Shaq he'd certainly be able to win coaching Ewing. I'd bet anything that he would flourish in the triangle and make it even better especially with a great passer like Rodman right there in the paint next to him. Ewing would get more touches than he's ever gotten in his career.

With that said how's about you tell me how you came up with that theory though. Ill wait.

If Phil cannot keep Kobe and Shaq together, how is he going to keep MJ and Ewing together?

Winning requires a lot more than just stats add together. It requires everyone to buy into their assigned role and the system.

It wasn't Phils job to beg Shaq and Kobe to stay together but the fact still remains that he brought the best out of them to win championships and I believe he would with a Jordan and Ewing pairing as well. It's not about stats but about their history as well.

They won an Olympic Gold Medal together in 1992, meshed well together throughout those games so I'm more than sure it could work in the NBA as well. Ewing witnessed first hand how effective the triangle offense worked and I'm sure he'd willing to learn it and be a big part of bringing another title to Chicago if he joined them.

Congratulations to GSW and Durant!!!! Arguably the greatest team in league history and the first (second for GSW) of what should be several more titles to come for KD!!

I'm sure there will be. The Patriots went and the Clemson football team just went yesterday. The Warriors just seem like a very very liberal team, led by a coach who openly shows his hatred for Trump. Also they are in the most liberal area of the US.

None of the 3 contenders would have went (Spurs, cavs, warriors) Lebron is as liberal as it gets and nobody on the cavs would want to go if LeBron didn't go. pop is openly very critical of trump, spurs wouldn't go if pop didn't wanna go.

Why, because they're that much better than everyone else?

I have no idea how people can hate what he did after watching his reaction here. He's right, you can't take all that money with you to the grave, enjoying it and winning is what matters.

Westbrook is focused on the English premier league. He didn't even know there was a game last night.

SaveTheHens wrote:It'll be interesting to see how the NBA keeps developing now. It's become a league of have & have-nots and the draft will not be the major changer in that anymore. Boston started the trend by making trades for stars who just wanted the ring. Next came Lebron teaming up with fellow stars. Now we have KD and the Warriors. This is the new "edge" in the NBA and the over-glorification of the quantity rather than the quality of rings will push players to do the same thing.

That invisible line not to cross out of respect for the game has been crossed and soon will not even be in the minds of NBA fans or players. To compete fairly is irrelevant, to compete to win is being pushed.I don't even blame KD either. He saw Lebron do it & get away with it, so why not him?

Spanning the last 10 years the highest quality of champions imo goes like:
1. 2011 Dallas
2. 2014 Spurs
3. 2010 Lakers
4. 2015 Warriors
5. 2008 Celtics
6. 2016 Cavs
7. 2009 Lakers
8. 2013 Heat
9. 2012 Heat
10. 2017 Warriors

They need to do one thing for sure imo, is remove the defensive 3 second rules. Nowadays players can be superhuman on offence with all the traveling, carrying , double dribbling, but can try their best way on d to stop a team. If they remove that at least I can place a player in the paint to protect it and leaving one wide open player to take a open uncontested jumper.

Unless they have 5 kd on the floor which warriors are pretty damn close that way teams at least can make it a little contest.

I dont know, something tells me Pop would quite enjoy getting to walk into the White House and make a snarky comment on cam to Trumps face.

Lol David West almost sounds like a charismatic retro boxer in that interview. That was entertaining. I'm happy for him.
